A fun shop, a variety of clothing items, shoes, bags, jewelry, candles, jeans and denim items, animal cruelty free items. This shop reminded me a lot of Anthropologie. It's a fun shop to walk around and to get lost in for an hour or so, fun to browse for sure. read more

There are lots of cool little boutiques around, but jb&me is my personal favorite. It has the best smelling candles to create a welcoming, relaxing atmosphere. I find items I really love on nearly every rack and every table. This place is #stylegoals for me. I love their selections of jeans, shoes, shorts, dresses, accessories, locally-made earrings... it's just so fun to find a store where I feel like the owner/workers "get" my style and can offer so much. Also, the sales people are NICE! No attitude, just fun, helpful and friendly. I love this place! During the quarantine, I've had great success ordering online or for pickup. I burned almost all the way through my first hazelnut candle the first couple of days! Will def go back often. read more

Very disappointed with the management/ownership at this establishment. Not only are they overpriced with nearly everything in the store, but when I had to make a return, they were rude and unwilling, even though I purchased just 3 days before and items were still with tags, etc. Spoke with the owner, and she had zero customer service and unwilling to understand her customer and the issue. My roommate and I were recently in looking for some jeans and as we were leaving, we got stopped at our car right outside of the business indirectly asking if we stole a pair of jeans that my roommate had tried on. My roommate did not have anything on her while in the dressing room and we told the employee that we put the jeans back where we left them and she still proceeded to take a picture of our license plate. My roommate and I are people of color and the entire time in the store we were being followed around. You'd think that in a diverse town, stuff like this wouldn't happen. Very disappointed to be part of this community and the company should be ashamed. Do better holland!! read more

We happen to stumble down here after dinner, and couldn't believe that stores - this one in particular was open until 9am on Saturday! Oh what luck! We were amazed to see such stylish clothes in our old conservative hometown. Beyond Michael Stars you can find Citizen jeans, True Religion jeans, Seven jeans, William Rast, and more. They have lots of things in the sales rack, but still it's going to be kind of pricey since they are brand name items. You can find great deals here, and plenty of sales racks. I love that they have a nightwear section, and lots of accessories. I'd like to come back and spend more time here. The sales ladies were rushing us out a bit in the dressing rooms, otherwise I'd give the place 5 stars. read more

I don't know why I haven't been here earlier...that's what you get for living in a small town and not interested in the shops they had here. Just went in there during the holidays and if I had the money, I would have spent a lot of time in here. It's like an Anthropologie, but hipper? Is that possible? There was a really good sale when we were there, but already spending money on the holidays, I had to pass up a great deal on a pair of boots that I so wanted! The store is in downtown Holland, which is already small, but the store is pretty big. There was a huge selection in designer jeans. And if you love accessories, they have a ton. It is such a neat store and especially for Holland, this is needed in such a small town. Everything in Holland is accommodated for the older generation, and this store is everything but. I would definitely come here again when I'm in town! read more

A big favorite of her's for years. 3 stars because the prices seem a little steep considering you can go to an Anthropologie in Breton Village about 30 min away with similar quality of products at more competitive price points. read more

My college friend Jess has bragged about jb and me ever since I met her 10 years ago! I visited this store many years ago while in Holland over Thanksgiving break and was excited to have the opportunity to return again while in town for her wedding. I'm surprised to see the mixed reviews because I was personally blown away! I have worked for many retailers (Gap, Banana Republic, Dillard's, Macy's, American Eagle, and rue21) both in stores and at their corporate offices, so analyzing a retailer is not a new concept for me. I think jb and me is spot on! Their product is incredible and priced at a great mid-range. The prices are very accessible while the product is quality. The visual merchandising is unbelievably good, and the store does a great job of buying product that is very cohesive. Not anyone can combine so much product from so many different brands and have it read as one collection. Yes, Anthropologie does something very similar, but they have a lot of stores, not just two. Initially, I walked into the store with my husband and said that I would "just be a minute." However, that minute quickly passed, and I told him that it was going to be a lot longer! I tried on several items but finally settled on an adorable fall sweatshirt with plaid details, a long necklace, two pairs of statement earrings, and a sugar and creamer set on sale. If jb and me ever wanted to expand locations, I think they definitely could. They could be the next Francesca's! (PS. Could you open one in Pittsburgh first?) read more

I saw Lucky magazine's recent blurb about jb and wanted to check it out during my trip. First things first, this place is HUGE. There is merchandise EVERYWHERE. There is a huge jean section, great shoes and handbags. My biggest quip was that the prices are pretty high for the brands they offer. Lots of mid-range price brands like Kensie, To The Max, Tulle but priced at a higher level. They did have a pretty good sale going on, but so much of it was from last winter...and a little too trendy for me. The staff is nice, wasn't too pushy but were always there when you needed a different size. read more

This store has a really nice selection of clothes, accessories, and home decor. Everywhere you look is something cute. The unfriendliness of the staff is pretty shocking, though. I noticed the workers looked away- and did not speak-as I shopped around the store. It struck me that my husband noticed the poor customer service too! I still found a cute purse, but come on ladies being friendly goes a long way, and makes the shopping experience more pleasant. read more

This place is super cute. Great accessories and brands, nice workers. But it's a tad pricey. I bought a little clutch, scarf, beaded necklace and a headband for a total of $92. I'd definitely stop by if I was in town again. They do a great job of curating a lot of brands and items into a definite style that's trendy but classy. read more

I've shopped at their Breton Rd. Location in Grand Rapids and this Holland location and can say without a doubt that both locations have some of the worse customer service I've experienced. Sales associates do not greet you, they are not helpful and only seem interested in assisting you when you try clothes on, then they do not leave you alone, as if you plan on stealing their merchandise. I've never been treated like this in any other boutique in the Grand Rapids and surrounding areas....... If I could give not stars at all I would! Their clothes are typical boutique clothing, nothing out of the ordinary. I can buy the same articles of clothing in other boutiques that will treat you like a customer they appreciate! read more

Tonight my adult daughter and I had our very first experience at this store. We were having a lovely time until a sales associate asked us about several empty hangers on the sales rack. My daughter had been trying on clothes in the dressing room. We said that we had no idea and continued to shop the store. Approximately 20 minutes later we were approached by a police officer asking us to step outside. There she asked us if we knew anything about these empty clothing hangers at the management's request. Astounded my daughter and I opened our purses to show the officer we had nothing and we were not carrying any other bags as this was the first store we had stopped at for our downtown Holland shopping experience! Unbelievable that we were treated that way! The officer apologized and let us go. When we actually went back into the store to finish a purchase we had held at the counter, the ladies had to call a manager who offered us each a CANDLE for our trouble!! We will NEVER shop at this store again and what should have been a lovely fun night with my daughter became an experience that completely rattled us both! We do not recommend this store to anyone who would be considering a pleasant downtown boutique shopping experience! Absolutely appalling!! read more

Well i love the clothing in this store, we go there about 3x a summer(we live about 40mins away) but this past monday we had a few rude expeirence's. Was kinda bummed we normally spend around 200 every time were in there on this occasion i was spending 260 & had asked if they price beat? The store tikal down the street had the very same dress i was buying for just 4$ cheaper i had asked if they would honor their price because i was buying everything else in jb & me , the girl was friendly til that point & then said No but u can just go down there & buy it (rudely) as if i was asking for a free item. My other girlfriend found a great ring but it was missing a few diamonds she was asking if they would discount that for her & the same girl said" well not normally i mean no one is going to see that" So my friend just put it back. We have never had a expeirence like this before there, it wont keep us from going back we just hope to not see the same girl working. We work in our community & talk to women everyday & reccomend holland shopping all the time particularly this store so because of the variety of clothing, we just hope the upityness can stop! read more
