Had a concrete extension to our deck last year. That part is fine for what I asked for, but when it comes to the staining and follow-up customer service I'm not real happy. Sent my address to Barry 2xs and was told he'd come by to look a the stain that's lifting up on the original concrete that he stained..sent pictures, etc. He never followed up. All I really needed to know if it can be repaired, and how to do it...I'd even pay to fix it if I needed him to. Now companies I've called to come look at to repair are telling me that it's not really acid stained it's dyed...don't know the difference..acid stain should eat into the concrete I would think, so not sure what to believe at this point. read more

Barry and crew with JB Concrete just finished our driveway. They had to tear out the old, frame the new, put in expansion joints, put in rebar, etc. They did a great job! Everything happened as planned except the actual pour. Apparently the concrete contractor messed them up, but instead of happening in the afternoon, it happened the next morning so no big deal. The crew cleaned everything up nicely. Added bonus - they dug out and put a base coat of concrete for our walkway (we'll lay in the stone ourselves soon). Their price was slightly less than the 2 other bids, but all were within a couple hundred dollars. Bottom line - driveways are not cheap, but these guys are professional and do good work. UPDATE: I don't know if my expectations were unrealistic...but 3 1/2 years later I have a driveway full of cracks. The first one appeared within a couple of months. It started from a corner that, in retrospect, should have been an expansion joint. I don't know why the rest have appeared, but they're everywhere. We have reasonable cars (an Escape and a Cube) and haven't had other heavy vehicles using it. Really a let down. read more

I would prefer to give a ZERO. Do not hire these ass-clowns to do anything. They poured a 40 x 10' backyard patio slab and replaced a cracked portion of my driveway. After telling me all covered sprinkler heads would be capped, these assholes are long gone and I have 4 out of 7 sprinkler stations spewing water under the new slab. The unreplaced portion of my driveway was cracked in half by the damn cement truck. Find somebody else instead of Barry the tard and his crew of clowns before you end up spending more than you ever expected after these dooshbags leave.
