Our family used JB Vacations for a recent family trip and were very disappointed with the planning and customer service care we received from the team there. We worked directly with the owner, Janice, and had 10 family members travelling together in our group. She was eager to book the trip for us, but then we heard 'crickets' from her when ever we had questions, needed to confirm details, etc. The trip details she reserved had typo-os and errors in them, and I had to reach out multiple times to connect with her and have those corrected/resolved. She did not return voice messages or respond to emails in a timely manner, but occasionally I'd get a response by email to a voice message I left for her. She never corresponded with us ahead of the trip...one day we simply got travel documents in the mail. And I never heard from her afterwards to ask how the trip went, what we liked/didn't like, etc. I've worked with a number of other travel agents to arrange travel and cruises, and was always treated with care and respect. And they made me feel like they were genuinely interested in having my business. Not the case with JB Vacations. I would not recommend using this agency, and would never refer my friends or family there. read more

I was surprised and disheartened to see the negative reviews of JB Cruises/Vacations. My experiences with them have been nothing short of stellar. In particular, it's clear they've been doing this a long time. They know the nuances of all the ships across multiple cruise lines. Their descriptions and advice were always dead-on. The one time we'd arranged for a shuttle bus there was absolutely no problem. A clean and comfortable van arrived right on time with a very pleasant driver. I don't know why the other reviewers had trouble or who was really at fault. But if those experiences were typical then JB Vacations wouldn't have remained in business as long as they have. I suspect that the vast majority of clients were happy and so never bothered to write a review. I myself wouldn't hesitate to use JB Vacations again. My advice would be to talk to them and get your own sense of their abilities. And have an amazing vacation! read more

My 80 year old mother booked a cruise with JB Cruises for a cruise at the end of March 2020. First sign of bad business by this company was that they pulled the balance of the trip from my mother's account a month before the contract stated the payment was due. When we called and spoke to them about them pulling out the money too soon we were met with a very rude response. My Dad passed away at the end October , so at the beginning of December we canceled the trip. I have contacted the company numerous times via phone and email requesting status on the refund. Every time I get a response it is rude and still can not get an answer. I find it very disturbing that they can take the money a month before its due but can not refund it????? At this point I have to have my lawyer go after them for the money. This company should be ashamed of themselves for taking advantage of an 80 year old woman who just lost her husband. DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY THEY ARE HORRIBLE! read more

Booked a cruise with JB Cruises for my daughter to carry on the tradition of going with my Mom who recently passed. Decided to book a suite on a short 4 day cruise costing over $2,000. I was mis informed about so many things about this cruise and was so embarrassed about being underdressed for functions and about what we expected to receive in our "suite". I was also insulted about the cruise we booked and again mis informed about how to properly tip butlers, waiters, etc. I wrote an email about our experience and two weeks later, no response or apology, just a response "need to read your email more carefully and will respond shortly ". Please research any travel agent you might use or trying working with the cruise line yourself, it does not cost any more!! read more

This was a horrible experience. Coming off a Cruise, had 12 people waiting in torrential rain for transportation he was supposed to provide. Told be be outside by 9 AM. Was at the spot designated by Dock employees and met with Dispatcher for All Star Shuttle Service, hired by JB Cruises. Would not bring bus to dock until all 22 people were there. At 10:15, all 12 of us being soaked, took the suggestion of the Dispatcher an rented a mini-van to take us home. Pedro, from JB Travel did not respond to telephone calls on Monday following the Cruise. I finally got to speak with him on the third call to request a refund for the trip home. He lied, evaded the issue, said we were in the wrong place(NOT TRUE), said we were stupid to wait in the rain and many other nasty and untrue statements. Also said "Get a life". Nice way to treat customers. NEVER USE THI AGENT. He is nasty and unreliable. Worst experience we could have possibly had coming off a cruise read more
