We recently watched Rosemead here because it was one of the few AMCs that was showing it. Nice to…read moresee some theaters playing less mainstream films that also cater to the community. Lots of parking spaces with a dated theater decor. This AMC takes me back to the 2000s down to the old school seats and menu items. (I love it). It actually makes the place unique. As for the sound and picture quality, it was perfectly fine. No complains there.

I love to surprise them by not telling them adventures until we arrive. When our tickets didn't scan, I thought, hmmm, no biggie. Let's look for the email. Still an issue. "Step aside please". The counter gentleman didn't know what was happening, nor did he know the ticket was associated with a "cancelled" movie. Ok. Got it. My issue is with the "manager". She was in no way apologetic. Just said that there were "projector issues" and that we could receive our refund via Fandango. I stood there, amazed. No genuine care for the fact that our day date was ruined. I first told her that even though it's a 3rd party app, AMC should be responsible for the communication issue. After I repeatedly told her how upset I was, she asked me what I thought I deserved, or something to that effect. I don't know. I run restaurants. You run movie theatre's. I know what I would do for you if you were my guest. She reluctantly offered me passes. Thanks. Then I waited for someone to acknowledge me for return on a pre-ordered popcorn. Crickets. The manager came to refund the popcorn. She asked for the order number. "Just ONE popcorn"? Ya. One popcorn. It's a luxury to eat $11 popcorn and I choose to feed my kids healthy 99% of their meals. Do I need to explain that? No. Don't judge a guest for the 1 or 20 items they order. Just refund them. As I went to show it to her, she aggressively grabbed my phone out of my hand. Ummm, excuse me. I don't let strangers touch my personal property without approval. Rude. Someone should contact me from corporate. There needs to be better systems in place for canceled movies and mangers need to be trained in genuine hospitality.

The Club has a deal so you can take food from the market into the theater, which is great for these long events. The theater is one of the oldest in LA and carries the air of the height of classic movie times. You can hear the ghosts of the greats walking the corridors and waiting for screenings to begin. This event - an amazing screening of The Godfather trilogy- using Paramount's actual archive 35mm print (which has held up well for being over 50). Marlon Brando loomed over the whole event from taking it to the mattresses to making offers no one could refuse. Al Pacino's descent from war hero to brutal villain was magnificent to see again. Even Sofia Coppola was a vision on the big screen. There was an interesting introduction from the club with fascinating trivia about the movie along with quizzes and prizes. Bear in mind this is an old theater, so don't expect the comfort of modern movie theaters with reclining seats, laser projection, and Dolby sound; this is real 'old' Hollywood. Overall, a really enjoyable day out with a chance to see some classic films.

I HIGHLY recommend using White Rose for any and all videography needs. After thoroughly researching…read morewedding videographers, I had my heart set on White Rose. I was fortunate that they were available on my wedding day!! They made the most amazing wedding videos that I will cherish forever!! I highly recommend booking White Rose, even if it means reallocating more of the wedding budget to videography!! They just have that creative vision that is so necessary for something as important as a wedding video. Not only were their final deliverables great, they were also so great to work with! They are very communicative, responsive, and reliable, which is just so important to have in a wedding vendor; having awesome vendors just makes the planning process way more enjoyable and contributes to the overall day going smoothly. Even years later, I've reached out to them regarding my videos, and they've been so accommodating!

I have heard of White Rose for many years prior to planning my wedding but Alex was formally introduced to us by our planner, Elegant Events. Before we even got started, he was so quick to respond to emails, hop on a call with me, and answered all of my 1000 questions. Leading up to our wedding I would stalk their social media pages, dreaming of how our wedding day would turn out. The day of my wedding Alex and his team showed up and went above and beyond my expectations. They worked so collaboratively with my photographer and the rest of my vendors. So seamless. So professional. So creative. So fun!!! Your wedding day is so special (and very exhausting by the end of it) so having a good team of people makes the world of a difference. From the creative ideas to the guidance with poses, I was happy, having fun, and at ease the entire day. The day goes by so quickly and I was so excited to get my content, since photos and videos are the only things that live on. We went with the best package they had available (and even added more time at the end) because it was THAT good. The White Rose team turned around our content soooooo quickly and did the most amazing job- I still cry every time I watch our video. They were able to get me my 2 hour film before the holidays and the whole family got to enjoy it and relive it on Christmas. I truly hope we can work with White Rose on more occasions in the near future and HIGHLY recommend selecting them for your wedding.
