We hired JBS to do the concrete work for our driveway and patio. Initially, we were impressed by their positive reviews, fair pricing, and the in-person meeting we had. They completed the patio on a Friday and the driveway on the following Monday. We were delighted by how quickly they worked and the high quality of their work. Our only complaints were the large pile of rock left in our yard, which was supposed to be removed by JBS (per the contract). Another issue was the slow and sometimes non-existent communication from JBS via email. I found them through Angie's List (boy is that turning out to be a disappointment!) as a company that installs retaining walls. I submitted a request for a quote and within a couple hours I had a message back from them! Sadly, the message only said, "We are not doing retaining walls at this time, due to our large amount of contracted concrete work." No sorry or thanks for reaching out, just "nope, don't want your business." Though judging from the other reviews here, I'm probably better off! read more

We had JBS tear out our asphalt driveway and replace the driveway and create a patio with concrete. after getting quotes from 4 other company', we went with JBS Construction. JBS was incredible to work with. The quoting process was very easy and we were quoted on the spot. All questions were answered. They gave us noticed and showed up to complete the project on the day and the time they promise. All workers were very friendly and continued to answer any questions We had. The finished job looks amazing and pricing was reasonable. Overall, would highly recommend! read more

We set up an appointment for an estimate for driveway and patio replacement at my rental residential property. The appointment was for 1 p.m. I was sick but didn't want to cancel the appointment so my husband drove me there and we stayed in the car, parked in the driveway at the front of the house before 12:50 p.m. By approx. 1:15 no one had arrived so my husband called their office to inquire how long the delay would be. He then received a call back that the fellow had been there at 1, went to the front door and was told they didn't know anything about a driveway replacement and so he left. He had our cell phone number. He knew it was a rental property and should not have talked to the occupants. He was not there at 1 p.m. as he claimed. He did not volunteer to return then for the appointment. read more

We had a new driveway poured at our house in Wauwatosa. Work began one month after our down payment. They started on time and WOW did they work fast! Working in close quarters they removed the old 120-ft long driveway and poured the new one in only 2 days. It wasn't cheap but it looks great and adds value to our home. Thanks guys! read more

I agree with the other reviewer of this company. The person who deals with their communication lacks good customer service skills. When I asked for an estimate the person emailed me back asking for what time of day was best. Then the person replied back just assigning us a day and time. I said that day didn't work and asked for it to be rescheduled. Due to the closing of the house being delayed, I had to ask again for the appointment to be moved to later in the week. This was the response I received, "I have cancelled the appointment. Get back to us when you are ready." I will definitely not be getting back to them and they're rudeness. read more

In 2014, I booked an appointment with this concrete company to do some work at my house. They never showed up. They never returned calls. In 2015, I asked this company to bid on some work. They bid an incomplete scope of work. They promised to refer the additional work to another contractor. Never did. I can't offer an opinion on the quality of their work, but the quality of their upfront office process is below expectations. All I got from this company is frustration. read more

My husband had the owner visit our driveway after it was installed 5/15. Issues with it looking bad because of very bad dark marks everywhere. We just had sound proof windows installed and I could hear him acting in a manner that you would never treat a paying customer. Neighbors could hear him and later asked "who is this asshole" Trust me! A customer should be treated with respect. read more
