It ended up taking twice as long having to drop my front axle in my Kia Sportage and John stuck to his quoted price of 2 hours labor. JB's is closer to DMV (to get registration completed) & he is so much more reliable! Since I'm down in Koloa, I had to borrow a truck & needed help to load & secure them. I can't say enough about JB's Auto Repair! I've had my cars serviced there for over 5 years now and will continue to do so. I highly recommend John and his shop! My first visit to JB's Auto Repair was when I had a fuel injector problem with my Sentra and John actually showed me how easy it was to replace it myself and sent me on my way to the parts store to get my parts. The next opportunity was when I did more harm than good on my wife's car and it was totally inoperative and when I called John he came with his tow truck and picked up the car. His pricing is more than competitive. My most recent experience with him was to replace the timing chain on my truck. This job required that the whole engine be removed from the truck. Tool a little longer than promised, but totally understandable. Not only did he fix what needed to be fixed, but discovered other issues that needed to be brought to my attention. The day after my truck was completed it seems my battery decided to give up. When I called him to describe my problems he said that he would come to my home and troubleshoot it and he would also buy a battery and if need be he would put it in. So that evening after he completed a full days work he stopped by my house on his way home and replaced my batter and my truck runs great!
