I would not recommend this company. I scheduled my move for 5/1 at 4:00 PM, but the movers did not arrive until almost 6:00 PM. The main issue began when my TV mount was damaged while the movers were removing my TV from the wall. I personally watched them remove it, and I have the incident recorded on my Ring camera. At first, I was not upset and did not make the movers uncomfortable about it. However, when my spouse contacted the company to ask about a possible discount due to the damaged mount, the situation escalated. When we arrived at my new apartment, the movers unloaded my belongings outside in front of the apartment complex and stated they would not continue the move because my spouse had requested compensation for the broken mount. As a woman moving on my own with no help available at the time, this was extremely stressful and unacceptable. After going back and forth with the owner, the team was eventually paid and said they would take a break before moving my belongings upstairs. Shortly after, the team lead, Tony, said another crew would come to finish the job because they had just completed a nearby move and would arrive in about 15 minutes. He provided me with a phone number and then left. When I called the number, I was told I had the wrong number. My spouse also tried reaching out to the owner and received no response. When he contacted Tony, it appeared that his number had been blocked. No one ever showed up that evening, and I was left with all of my belongings sitting outside my new apartment for hours. Thankfully, a coworker was eventually able to help me move my items upstairs. The next morning, the owner texted my spouse saying the other movers had not finished their previous job until 1:00 AM and that movers were now on the way. At that point, I no longer needed their services because the job had already been completed with outside help. I still paid for the move even though the company did not finish the job. In addition to everything else, Tony was extremely disrespectful and unprofessional. He claimed that I was yelling and screaming at the movers, which is completely false. Once again, I have the entire interaction recorded on my Ring camera. At no point was I aggressive or disrespectful toward the movers. The only time I became visibly frustrated was after I was told my belongings were being left outside in front of my new apartment complex, which I believe anyone would have been upset about. Tony showed no conflict resolution skills and, in my opinion, should not be in a leadership position. He repeatedly stated that he was "the person in charge," but instead of helping resolve the issue, he escalated the situation and left me without a completed move. What makes this even more disappointing is that neither Tony nor the owner appeared genuinely interested in resolving the situation. I paid for a service, and the job was not completed. That is unacceptable. This was an extremely disappointing and stressful experience. I would 100% not recommend this company. I would not recommend JC's Moving. From the beginning, communication was frustrating. JC was extremely difficult to get ahold of, rarely answered phone calls, had a full voicemail box, and primarily communicated through text. Customer service was poor throughout the entire process, and when I raised concerns, I never felt like anyone genuinely cared about resolving them. I was also surprised when the movers arrived in a U-Haul. Based on the reviews and photos, I expected a professional moving truck. While that wasn't necessarily a dealbreaker, it added to my concerns about the overall professionalism of the company. The moving crew worked hard, but there seemed to be very little organization or leadership. It often felt like everyone was moving in different directions rather than working together efficiently. As a result, the move took far longer than I expected. The job ended up taking two days. On the first day, the crew worked for approximately nine hours and only filled the truck about two-thirds of the way. Based on the amount of belongings I had, I genuinely believe this move should have been completed in one day with proper planning and efficiency. I specifically paid for a full-service move because I was handling this move largely on my own and needed professional help. Instead, I felt like I had to step in and become another mover. I found myself answering constant questions, directing people, locating items, and helping keep things moving because the process felt so slow and disorganized. At times, it felt more like I was babysitting the move than being a customer who had hired professionals to handle it. What made the experience even more frustrating was the lack of accountability. When I tried to raise concerns, JC repeatedly told me that my "team lead" was responsible for addressing them. The problem was that nobody ever clearly introduced themselves as a team lead, so I had no idea who that person was supposed to be. It felt like my concerns were simply being passed off rather than addressed. At the end of two exhausting days, I asked if we were finally finished. Not once did JC ask how the move went, whether I was satisfied, or if there was anything he could do to improve the experience. There was no follow-up, no concern for customer satisfaction, and no ownership of the issues I raised. For a company that relies on customer trust, that level of indifference was shocking. Despite my disappointment, I still paid the full amount and tipped the crew appropriately. Overall, the lack of communication, poor organization, lack of leadership, inefficient pace, and complete disregard for customer feedback made this one of the most frustrating service experiences I've had. I cannot recommend this company and would strongly encourage others to look elsewhere for their move. read more

I've had a couch sitting in my garage for 10 days now in between moves and work. Woke up this morning and called JC Moving after reading a single review online. While working, JC took my call, he was courteous and precise about the job and said "We'll get your couch upstairs for you sir; Today!" 30 mins later he called to say he had 2 of his guys on the way and 2 hours later my couch is in my front room. Now when I say this was not an easy job let me explain. 4th floor! Tight stairwell, No Elevator! The 2 men carefully and thoughtfully managed each turn like true professionals never once complaining and did it all with yes sir and thank you sir's. I cannot recommend this Moving service enough or the 2 men who came on short notice to move me! Let me really stress this in this review. Very Very professional!! Top to Bottom was this experience! JC Moving was so responsive with my short notice request for an appliance delivery. They worked with me to get on the schedule quickly and were so courteous and pleasant! Once they arrived to the location, they were polite and greeted me so respectfully and kind. They handled my fridge with such care throughout the process and even set it up for me once they got it into my home! I'm talking they disconnected the waterline from my old fridge and hooked it up to the new one so that I didn't have to figure it out! I was pleasantly surprised by their service! I haven't used a service like this before and I would most definitely do it again! I took a card for future moving services and would highly recommend them to anyone hands down! Great job, guys! I would definitely recommend JC Moving Company. I contacted them with an unusual request to pick up items purchased on FB Marketplace, where I found JC Moving, to furnish my apartment from all over the north and east side of DFW Metroplex. They accepted without hesitation. I've moved many times in my long life, but never have I encountered movers working in tandem in an engineered manner. They were very efficient, wrap items for protection, even took a door off to get fridge and treadmill to go through. After the move from hell, we get to Texas to find out our unloaders were not coming. I had 2 26 ft trucks sitting in my cul de sac waiting to be taken care of. I found JC on the uhaul website and am so glad I did. They were able to fit me in same day (after their already booked jobs). Communication was fantastic. JC and 2 helpers showed up and had my trucks unloaded and items brought into the house in 3 hours!!!! This was after they had already worked a full day!
