Every year for the past 3 years when I visit St. Augustine I make it a point to stop in and pick a few hand rolled Connecticut wrapped cigars. Never disappointed in quality, taste or price. Do yourself a favor and check it out. read more

Not much variety in the selection, Maduro, Habano and I assume Connecticut in various sizes. The draw is the roller rolling in the store front. I asked if he rolled all of the cigars, or some and contracted out the rest, to which he replied that he rolled all of them. The cigars are average for premium hand rolled, and the price better than buying them at the few tobacco shops around. Add to that the fact you're supporting an actual person, and not a corporation, gives me reason to return when I'm in town next. Are they going to blow your mind? If you smoke Dublin try to find a place to park and walk on down to the heritage shopping malls get yourself some hand rolled smokes. read more

If I could give a 10 star review, I would. I've been a cigar smoker for way too long, and JC's maduro is easily in my top 10. Wonderful mix of spice and pepper. Retrohale amplifies the already great flavors. Always a good draw, and rarely needs any touchup. Much better than many sticks costing twice as much. I recommend the corona. I am a cigar snob I guess. They must be hand rolled and not taste of burning tobacco. That just irritates me. JC it turns out is special. You can watch him roll cigars from beginning to end and it isn't just for show. One day he is rolling cigars in binders, the next day he is rolling other cigars in wrappers. A good experience that any true cigar lover can appreciate. The proof though is in the cigars. Do they taste like crap (literally) or do they have some nuance and unique flavor? For me I go with the latter. I tried a unique full flavored cigar with a Connecticut wrapper. Any cigar lover will tell you that is a contradiction. And while it is more of a medium blend, it was so creamy and full of smoke, I found myself really enjoying it. I have smoked 5-6 now and look forward to the next. JC obviously cares about his final product. It might be a tourist town, but his cigars aren't a tourist blend. Enjoy. read more
