Over the years, the plants and shrubs required a great deal of trimming and maintenance, yet they still outgrew their locations. Highland came in and removed all the overgrown shrubs and replace our entire 30 year old, 12-zone sprinkler system. Highland installed a high quality Rain Bird system with three manifolds beautifully built and professionally wired with waterproof wire nuts. The quality and attention to detail is second to none. Highland partners with a local nursery that has an exceptional selection of high quality bushes, trees, shrubs and perennials. We were able to select exactly what we were looking for with their guidance. Highland utilizes software capable of creating 3D renderings of the landscape with the plants we selected at full maturity to ensure that we were getting the curb appeal we envisioned. Highland doesn't hesitate to devote a large crew to a landscaping project when its required. Every Highland employee that we interfaced with was courteous and respectful. Once the plants were delivered, they planted with the same care and attention to detail. They ran two driplines to every plant and ensured that the right size emitters were used based on the plants water needs. Highland has skilled craftsmen that take pride in their work. They go above and beyond to ensure that you are pleased with the final result. We had a particularly challenging area, that we were not sure how to address. Highland came up with a unique solution that they implemented beautifully. From the beginning of a project, Highland listened to our concerns and goals. Their proposal was very detailed and addressed all of our desires. As with any landscaping project, there were additions and changes along the way. Through out the process, there was always open communication about any additional costs and the final billing was clear and transparent with no surprises. We could not be happier with the results. I sent out one of Yelp's RFQs a couple weeks ago, and Jazmine's was one of the first businesses to…read morerespond. They came out that weekend to give me a free quote, and I felt very comfortable with them. While I was a bit hesitant to do such a big job with a company with few reviews, I selected them based on my like for both Jose and Vera, their very fair quote, and their clear expertise when it comes to landscaping. So, what did I have done? I had the entire front and back yard xeriscaped (see before and after pics I uploaded). They really had their work cut out for them! The yard was a mess with dandelions and a plethora of other weeds, and had really been ripped up thanks to cutting down a few sumacs over the years (and, to be honest, my general disdain for lawn maintenance). No problem for Jazmine's - in just a day and a half they got everything dug out, laid weed cover (the good stuff), planted three trees, and put down all the rock. They were very patient with me in choosing the trees and the rock, and took an immense amount of pride in their work. Jose even came back the next day and added a little mulch around the new trees - I guess what they'd put down the day before wasn't quite up to his standards (even though it certainly met mine!). The whole crew were a delight to have around! Everyone was friendly and professional, working quickly and cleaning up after themselves. So, then we hired them to prune our two locust trees, one small pine, and a big branch from a neighbor's ash tree. All went smoothly and we really felt they took their time and carefully roped up certain large branches so that they could be lowered under control to avoid our sunroom and our deck pergola. Nothing was damaged, they cleaned up great, and my wife is 100% satisfied (and she's pretty picky!). Many thanks to Wyatt for the careful acrobatic cutting plus Karl in assist mode and then Grant for bidding the job and explaining what was going on with our trees.
