They have one power rack (which some dumba$$ was nice enough to use as part of his full-gym superset, so nobody else got a turn for a while). They have one squat stand (no adjustable hooks nor adjustable safety pins, and a Smith machine. Lots of other machines and cable stuff that I dont tend to use. They have cardio, room for classes, floor work, etc. Also looks like they have vending machines that actually carry recovery drinks too, and not just speed, like most other gyms. Kudos to them for that. All in all, it would be awesome if they had just one more power rack. Squat stands just aren't as safe for heavy lifting. That would push it up to 5 stars for sure. I'd say solid 4 stars on this one, would come back.

The gym is dirtier and dirtier, one of the reasons I chose this gym is the tanning bed. It works half the time, and many times there are no cleaning supplies for it. Also, the facilities seems to be dirtier and dirtier. I don't feel like anyone cleans, and there is no emphasis for members to clean after themselves. And the bathrooms are nasty. Today was the icing on the cake. I drive 25 minutes to get there. This morning I get there and my key fob wouldn't work. Several other members showed up around the same time, and no one's fob wouldn't work. the gym is between managers, as the sign on the door says, and there won't even be a manager (regional) there until tomorrow to fix the problem. It makes me want out of my contract.

I asked to walk through the gym before purchasing a membership and was invited to do so without…read morehassle. The music playing in one of the weight rooms wasn't loud or distracting and the gym wasn't crowded. They have sufficient equipment and maintain a classic atmosphere with enough old school style equipment to keep the gym from being crowded with internet weirdos. Since it's a Nautilus gym I immediately looked for a pullover machine and found one but it had a sign on it that said "out of order". The girl at the front desk informed me that machine turnaround typically doesn't take long. I trusted that it was just a damaged elbow pad and not that they were trying to keep people from using this machine- which for some reason I expected would be either nonexistent or out of order(which almost no other gyms in the St Louis area have). I also noticed one other machine which was out of order. They have a few other amenities which may or may not be accessible to members(as they have at least one other business operating within the facility). At first glance this gym seems great and I found the staff to be welcoming and personable. They're open 24 hours and the pricing is similar to club fitness. Five stars only because they're the only gym in the area like them. I would have given four stars for the signature pullover machine being out of order as expected but I prefer that they don't close this place over a bad yelp review- some room for improvement, but otherwise much better atmosphere than all of the other chain gyms in the area.
