But I figured I could get them done and if I hated them, could put them in a drawer (or obscure folder on computer) and if I liked them, then hooray! I am delighted to say this was a hooray! Jessica answered the million questions I had before I scheduled with her and made me feel really comfortable that I had made a good choice in photographer before even meeting her in person. She is incredibly sweet and in person definitely made me and my husband feel comfortable during the shoot (we aren't exactly picture type people and generally aren't about having our photos taken), so this was huge for us. It was an actually enjoyable experience. Scheduling was easy and so was communication. Turnaround on proofs and final photos were timely. Pricing is on point and I absolutely appreciate that she was one of the few photographers for maternity and newborn I could find that doesn't force you into a heinously expensive package with order minimums. I bring this up because it was a strong consideration for me when looking for a photographer. I didn't and still don't feel the need to spend $500 on printed photos when I really only want or need a 2-3 hardcopies for my mantle and like having the rest safe digitally and can share with far away family that way (via email/ social media). That said, if you want prints, Jessica can handle that! The photos turned out wonderful and will most decidedly not be being put in a drawer/ obscure folder to be forgotten. I won't hesitate to go to Jessica for my newborn photos and wouldn't hesitate to recommend to you yelpers.

Jenny was flexible and understands newborns tend to run on their own schedule. She allowed us to feed him before and after our session and didn't rush us out of the studio once we were done. Jenny was very professional. She wears a mask and our son did so well with her (slept the whole time). Her studio also has everything you need - diapers, bottle warmer, sheets, snacks, drinks. Day of event he and Juli arrived early and were ready to capture . He even sent me email letting me know he was there and waiting. I met both and was immediately sparked by their warm and bubbly personalities. You can tell right of the bat they love love what they do!!! They have several cameras working and adjusting according to lightening etc... You could also tell they actually knew what they were doing and not posing as photographers. I'm always happy when I get quality professional people and I know my money was well spent. For the event of two hours I paid 300.00 for unlimited shots for the evening. At this point in the review the party is just a couple days old so I haven't gotten my proofs just yet so I can't comment on that but I am sure they will look and be perfect as the meticulous craft these two have I'm sure to be pleased. Absolutely terrible! These photographers are the absolute worst, and I strongly advise against…read moreusing them. They ruined my photos--photos we can never get back or redo. Another photographer who reviewed our images was embarrassed for us. Even our florist, who has been awaiting our professional photos to showcase her floral arrangements, called this the "worst" photography she has ever seen, and she has been in the business for a long time. We wanted a dark and moody style and made that abundantly clear during our consultation. Instead, they used a "light and airy" editing style and relied on bright flashes all night. As a result, you can't even see the candlelight in the venue or appreciate the beautiful colors. When I requested a consultation to discuss how they messed up, they tried to gaslight me into believing these photos were good! The images were taken from unflattering angles and about 30% of them included the second photographer. It honestly looked like someone's mom took the photos! Every single one of my ceremony photos had the other photographer in them, and they claimed these pictures were quality work! It blows my mind! They don't seem to care that they ruined the memory of my wedding. How can anyone look at these photos, see the other photographer in them, and leave that in the final edits? Just wow!

I booked a private session for parents for Christmas 2020. We mainly communicated via text and FB messenger. Andrea was very responsive and thoughtful about all of my concerns. She respectfully distanced herself from my Covid conservative parents. After perusing through the photo gallery from the session, I was relieved that they will be acceptable to my pro-mateur dad. I also realized that she is a far better photographer than I expected--she isn't the typical camera enthusiast turned photographer. She precisely frames pictures and actually understands, pays attention to AND manipulates the light to achieve the desired shot at the exact angle for the specific time of day and weather. She was so sweet and enthusiastic that my non-photogenic parents felt instantly at ease. She even captured my mother smiling--seemingly naturally--on camera despite my mother's perma-scowl. I told Andrea that my parents has broken English. Andrea proactively downloaded a Mandarin-English app prior to the photo shoot. Her prices for private sessions are reasonable.
