She directed every moment of the shoot, creating a comprehensive selection of photos to capture every possible moment. Her photo culling and editing timetable was amazing and my friend had photos in just a couple of weeks. When I reached out to her on my own behalf, the situation wasn't as joyful. I was left in the lurch by my own wedding photographer and had several thousand raw, unedited, and frankly ​underwhelming photo files to wade through. Erika was able to take my photos and almost completely transform them with her editing work in a little over a week. I'd been waiting nearly a year for my original photographer to do the work and when he disappeared, I'm so glad Erika was the backup. Her pricing is amazing and her work is impeccable. In addition to our wedding- we had our engagement shoot done by them. I cannot believe how relaxed Joe & Kaylyn made us feel! From steaming our clothes to moving pieces of hair out of my face in between shots, these two REALLY are professionals. You don't just get a point + shoot. All of our photos came out too beautiful for words. For our wedding, I did not hire a 'Day of Coordinator' thinking it was a small enough wedding & the people involved all knew their duties. HA!! WAS I WRONG!! Kaylyn not only spent the entire day getting ready with me (while Joe was with the guys) but once the wedding was really rolling she was the one to keep us all in order with the timeline! I cannot thank Kaylyn enough- she literally came in & saved my wedding! Without her I'm pretty sure we would've forgotten to cut our cake.. or even throw the bouquet! She was kind and patient with our baby and the hour flew by! Our baby had a great time! We originally hired Kate to do our newborn photos last year (April 2020), and unbeknownst to us...or anyone, they ended up being canceled because of the pandemic. It was a really hard time for us to be in a pandemic, with a newborn, as new parents, while isolated. Missing out on our newborn photos was a small but nonetheless heartbreaking loss for me. Kate was so graceful and kind, she offered alternatives and came to shoot us (from afar) outside at our home...those photos will be forever memorable.
