We booked an appointment at 6pm. Got there 20 min early. 1.5 hrs later we asked where we were in line. They told us 1person. Then we watched 2 more people go in front of us. I asked the photographer and they said the receptionist bumped us. Oh no. The photographer was sweet however the receptionist came in and stopped our family shoot. Then when we went to review our photos she only had one photo. I know for a fact he took at least 3 photos before our session ended. The receptionist showed us a horrible shot. I purchased a wedding band for my husband at the beginning of November 2024 and was told it would be in around the 12th of Dec... I went to the store to pick the ring up and found out that the ring had not been returned from the company that JCP use to size rings. I called back every other day in hopes that the ring would be returned by Christmas. I was told one day that they had not sized the ring because they didn't have the warranty number. I was standing at the counter when the lady gave the co. the number on the 12th. So now I'm told if I want the ring sized it would be back on January 8th. I called and spoke to a man at the jewelry department and he said the ring is not back. He said he would call the company and get back to me. He didn't. I have been calling everyday and the ring is still not back. The store manager will not answer and I am not happy that my husband did not have his Christmas gift and it is new years and still no ring.Do not shop Cross Creek Mall Jewelry department. read more

Yes, I am giving this JCP in Fayetteville five stars! No kidding, this is a perfectly sized store and ALWAYS has huge deals. Between getting my JCP rewards all the time (easy and hassle free to sign up!) and the bargain codes texted to me and even more via the retailmenot app - you just can't beat it. If you read my original review - I purchased a lot of my workout clothes here on the cheap. I workout hard (most of the time...), I need reasonably priced workout clothes because I am hopefully going to profusely sweat and occasionally get dirty! That's kind of my point to workout. The Xersion (JCP store brand) works great for me. The clothes are well made (not thin, see thru, or little speghetti straps!) can be washed literally hundreds of time and show little/to no wear. They always have new coordinating jackets, shirts and pants with many bright colors. I wear drab clothes all day for work -I like some screaming colors to workout in. The Nicole Miller line (not JCP exclusive) has truly become one of my favorites from her clothing, jewelry, purses and absolutely gorgeous home line. I have purchased several dresses and jewelry. I uploaded a few pics of my recent haul. Love the rose colored pieces of jewelry - unique and a bargain. If you haven't checked out JCP in a bit, recommend you do. Literally, I quit shopping at JCP a few years ago - and now I shop there weekly (if not more) due to convenience, merchandise and awesome sales! read more

I went into JCPenny to find a dress to wear to my daughters graduation. I'm so glad that I did. I started freaking out bc everything seemed to look very "Little House on the Prairie" and was not complementing me. I finally thought I found something but wasn't sure 100%. I saw an employee, Gina and asked her to help me find a cover to go over my arms. She not only helped me find the perfect cover but she also gave me tips on how to wash, what color shoes to get to bring the entire outfit together and at the register told me that the dress was going to look Beautiful and to not cry at the graduation bc it is a happy occasion. I can't thank Gina for enough got helping me, someone who can't match anything together, find the PERFECT outfit for my daughters graduation! Thank you Gina read more

It's sad how some of the managers/supervisors do not have no insight on anything in the store but some how have those positions. Supervisor Ingrid is a wonderful supervisor who i helped me when finding items for both my son and daughter. To the supervisor who name start with a J i can't remember your name but you was rude when i called to address an issue over the phone I, was talked down to as if i didn't have no understanding of how department stores are ran and i worked at one. You are supposed to listen to the customers and not cut them off while talking. Not all is bad at Jc Penny's you have some wonderful employees who are always ready and willing to assist who have the nicest and sweetest personalities. I believe if they get rid of the management and promote the other employees in those positions it will be a better place. Those workers are compassionate. I noticed new employees, they are polite i just hope that those ungrateful, unappreciative managers and supervisors don't run them off. Retrain your managers and supervisors read more

My wife booked a photo session at the portrait studio to get some photos done for Christmas cards. Got to the portrait studio on time and was told they were a little busy so it would be a 20-25 minute wait. An hour and a half later and we still waiting. 2 photographers here and only one working. Only come here if you have half a day to wait not worth the time. read more

I NEVER go to shopping malls and this mall per se has absolutely nothing to boast about. I do 99% of my shopping online. In this instance, I bought a wide variety of drapes, about 18 pair, looking for just the right shade of grey. Instead of calling for a UPS pick-up, I decided to return the unneeded sets directly to the store. This is notoriously difficult to do because the numbers never match the item numbers in the store, and the stores are not familiar with the merchandise, because if they carried the variety they sell online, they wouldn't have room for it all. I was so pleasantly surprised by the service I received I had to give them kudos here. I had three big boxes to return so they let me pull up to a service area, had someone come out to the car and unload the boxes for me and then led me right to a cashier. Chris was EXTREMELY KIND and PATIENT. He was not familiar with drapes, so he called an associate down from the drapery department to go over everything. I think her name was Una? At any rate, it was as if they were trying to top each other as to who could be the most helpful. Even the stock guy waited patiently for them to finish so he could take the inventory to wherever it goes. These three were the definition of SUPERIOR customer service. No one rolled their eyes at my return, they even called the online division for me to cancel an outstanding back order. Literally could not have asked for better service. I hope their Manager's are checking reviews and I hope these three are well compensated for their work. Seriously, I work in a service industry and would like to steal these three to work my sales floor. The kind of skills these employees exhibited cannot be taught. Someone is hiring right over there. read more

Although the value of clothibg and selection are okay. The sales representatives are seldom helpful with finding things you are looking for. This makes shopping stressful and not wanting to return. I rather go where sales associates are more personable and willing to help. read more

I saw a sports coat I liked for 70% off of the regular price of $200. When I got to the register the cashier scanned the item and the price came up $100. I told him that can't be right because 50% from $200 would make the price $100 but the price tag showed 70% off which would make it lower than $100. Both cashiers agreed but still didn't take any kind of action and they rang me up for $100. I went to customer service upstairs and Veronica was able to assist me by calling the manager and gave me the 70% off and allowed me to use my 15% off coupon, so I only paid $54 for a very nice sports coat. Bottom line, the cashier I initially saw knew there was a problem but failed to do anything about it. He needed to show more initiative by calling a manager or doing something but he failed to do so while Veronica was very proactive.
