My daughter took me to Sephora to see about a makeover. After waiting 20 minutes to talk to someone, I asked the girl smiling, before I schedule an appointment will you be able to cover some wrinkles and my old spots? She responded, "No I can't". Needless to say, I walked out and scheduled an appointment with MAC In Dillards. They did a Beautiful job! and coverage was amazing . Sephora is overated! read more

DO NOT BUY APPLIANCES HERE... yes the deals are great however they won't tell you when delivery is coming until 12 hours prior so expect a phone call at 9pm. Also they no longer carry all fridge filters so you have to go somewhere else to buy them. Biggest waste of time and money. read more

Don't waste your time going to Pennys. I thought it was wonderful of them to send me a $10 off $10 in the mail. Finally found an item I wanted in the store (superstition spgs). They also have a 25% or 30% OFF promotion too. At the register, my item did not ring up at the sale price and the clerk took my word for it and manually put it in..good job. Now, it would not take my $10 off or the 25 or 30% either, which was why I was there in the first place. I did not buy a thing. These coupons and sales are for " select items"! Apparently, there stores do not carry these "select" items. I have been frustrated with JCP for a long time now. Hassles every time I go in. The south gilbert store has been a pain too. Racks of clearance clothes so crammed you can't stand to look through it. Never a clerk available when you need one. Their levi 501 shelves had about 15 pairs on it, not in my size. I was given the option to purchase them now, have them shipped to store, and return to pick them up or I could dish out more money for shipping to home. Wow, thanks for the great customer service!!!! This outstanding review is for the JC Penny Salon at Superstition Springs. For Christmas I received a spa day gift certificate. I had such a good time, I went back to the hair salon for a new do. The Facial by Brenda Hernandez and Massage by Lana Gannon was to die for. When I left my face was radiant. The massage was rejuvenating, relaxing and informative. A few days later, I went to the hair portion of the salon. Vida Anthony rocked my crazy hair. I love my hair! Had the worst experience here in jcp home store went to buy some appliances an they had a ticket with no price just a 25$ off 75$. So I looked under the special sticker and saw 29.99. Went to check out with that and another item. Price was high asked about it and showed the lady the price I saw. Boy did she get mad and started yelling no no no that's not the price you can't do that!!! So I said forget it. Walked out angry with the way she handled it. Trying to keep the brick & mortar store operating is difficult. A month ago I wanted to buy a swimsuit. The suits were so jammed on the racks that it was impossible to find a size and style that I liked. I walked out empty-handed. Today, 8/23/2017, I tried to buy a pair of shoes for my husband. I needed to talk to a clerk but none were around. A woman and her daughter who were there before me said they had asked for a clerk but no one had shown up yet. I waited a few minutes. Still no clerk. Again, I walked out empty-handed. JC Penney has always been my go-to store. Customer service at the check-outs is great. But sometimes people need help finding what they need. I went back to school shopping last Monday and was overwhelmed by the crowds at the mall, so I went into JCPenny's and got some great deals on shoes and pants. I had my daughter with me and she's always struggled to find clothes she likes. I asked for help from a floor associate Jennifer who was AWSOME! she was so patient with my daughter and helped her look thru piles of jeans until my daughter was Happy, we moved on to undergarments, and Alyssa was servicing that area she helped fit my daughter with new garments, helped her pick out young fun colorful pieces and answered all our questions. I really hope this stores management recognizes these two young ladies that they have working there, they will be the reason I go back, sure the sales are nice but they dont compare to the friendly staff. On September13th, 2015, I arrive at the JCPenny home store at 5:15 and its closed. The hours are posted on the store door that they are open until 6pm. Even online the hours are posted as open until 6pm. What a waste of my time. You better call this store if you ever plan on shopping there to make sure they are actually open! read more

JCP Custom Window Treatments are nothing like they use too be. There is only one real professional Custom Decorator in the whole state of Arizona and that's Sheryl Poore. The installation team has seen better day, take a good look at the dirty beat up vans that are delivering you you're very expensive Custom Window coverings, they should be delivering car parts in them vans. Overpriced, poor workmanship, better to do it yourself. I wouldn't recommend anyone to shop at JCP. read more

I had the best experience in the men's department buying shoes. Fran helped me in the afternoon and was very courteous and professional. Later I brought the shoes back for a different size and Sigi was very accommodating and made the process so easy compared to most stores with their tedious return limitations. It was awesome to not feel like I was inconveniencing the staff because I needed to make an exchange. read more

I went here today to purchase a lot of bedding. The store has lots to offer in all departments. The customer service lacks! I purchased over $400 of bedding today. I waited for a long time before the customer service person asked for more help. The person that came to help answered several internal phone calls while helping me. As she was processing my order, I received a fraud alert on my phone. I immediately responded Y that it was not fraud. However, because the amount was so large, she had to get approval from the bank. After over 20 minutes of waiting for approval and talking, I was given the phone to verify and put on hold. He then asked my cell phone number to text another verification code to me. Funny, that it could have been any phone number I gave him that he could text it to. While this was all going on the 2 customer service agents left and a new person came. He waited for awhile and then started helping other customers that came to the line. As I handed the phone back to him to say they were ready to give a confirmation code, he told them to hold as he finished the other customer he was helping. 5 minutes later, he finally returns to help me and kept the guy on hold. Crazy! It took 10 seconds for him to enter it and get my receipt. Not impressed at all with the customer service given. They have lost my business. read more

I spent almost $1,000 on a new washer and dryer. Delivery was not available for almost a week. The day before my washer and dryer were to be shipped my order was cancelled. JC Penney never even bothered to contact us. I waited a week for them to cancel my order. Ended up having to place a new order with Lowes and received next day delivery. I would NOT recommend JC Penney for ANY appliance purchases. Terrible customers service and unwilling to help fix the situation they created. Terrible company and lack of service. read more

So PISSED!!! Yesterday 10/21/16 I came to J.C. Penney's in the superstition springs mall. My daughter and I waited in line for awhile. A lady that worked there gave each customer in line a card and when you open it it gave you a percentage off or if you spent a certain amount it took off a certain amount. Mine just happened to be, spend $100.00 get $100.00 off. So today 10/22/16 I drove all the way from Florence to go shopping I spent 2hours maybe a little more walking around looking at clothes, trying on clothes. I waited in line again even longer than yesterday. I get to the cashier and she tells me they are not honoring these coupons! I was so PISSED! I just wasted 3hours of my life. I told her I just got it yesterday, I pointed to the lady that gave them to us who was hanging up clothes. I told her I just spent over two hours here, are you serious. I was PISSED. I went outside called my husband told him I was to mad to meet him. He told me to go back in and talk to a manager. So I did. He also said the same thing the cashier did just more "I'm sorrys". Don't be sorry just give me back my gas money that took me to drive here and 3hours of my life that wasn't spent with my family. Jc penny's I will not be returning. read more

This review is for the salon only. I had a different experience in the store while I waited for my daughter to get her "miracle" in the salon. (different review, I do not want to taint the praise I have for Jessica Yanez). I am truly beside myself at the work that Jess did for my daughter. Back story, this was a reunion with my 18 year old daughter after being separated for almost 9 painful years. My daughter wanted and needed to get her hair done. Reunited during a tumultuous time in her life, she needed more than just "getting her hair done" to boost her self confidence. I had a stylist come to my house and two days later, we had a disaster. My daughter wanted her hair half blond half black. Yes. A challenge for any stylist I understand that now. But before we met Jess, my daughters hair was 3 shades of blond with some green and the black was black and blue. My daughter was deeply saddened, quietly disappointed in me (I could tell) meanwhile I cried secretly because all I wanted to do was WOW her and make her feel good again. So we went to JCP. Jess explained what would need to be done, even with a disclaimer because the damage was so extensive. ( My daughter had scabs on her scalp as well from the previous job). It took two appointments at JCP. Jess was so professional, compassionate, personable, skilled, patient and most of all....a freaking rock star stylist. Jess not only exceeded any expectations I had going in, she gave my daughter something you cannot buy,...self assurance, pride and a much needed boost in her self esteem. The color and cut was superb quality and by far above standards for what we paid. I hope JCP gives their hair stylist some sort of bonus or pay increase to show salon associates they appreciate their value. I would follow Jess anywhere she goes. read more

I will NEVER shop at JCPENNEY again! They sent my bill to the wrong address and without ever trying to contact me they SENT ME TO COLLECTIONS and ruined my perfect credit score. I went to the store to pick up an online order. This was Monday afternoon at 1 pm. At the desk was one clerk (Sondra) and she was assisting the customer in front of me. This customer had multiple issues ranging from returns without a receipt, a purchase and pickups. After waiting 15-20 minutes, during which time Sondra never acknowledged me in any way, a manager approached me and asked if I had been helped. He looked at Sondra and asked if there was someone else who could help me.....she curtly replied "no". He then used the PA system to call for assistance. 1 minute later another associate arrived. She took care of me in about 90 seconds. Seriously, who trains these clerks?? I wasted 20 minutes when I could have been in and out of there in 2...never again!!! read more

Went to JcPennys yesterday to shop for my husband, son, and myself. In the boys department I was greeted by Hunter. She was extremely helpful and very pleasant, hence the reason for 2 stars. Went to the juniors department and picked up a few things for myself and then proceeded to stand in line near the register. Apparently I wasn't in the correct line and was told so by the cashier Sam who was extremely rude to me. I asked where the line was and she rolled her eyes at me and said" uh...over there". Not a good start, but ok, so I then proceeded to check out and she just seemed to have a really bad attitude. Didn't greet me and ony spoke to me by saying "phone #". At this point I'm a little irritated and ask her if she's always this pleasant? She raises her voice and responds that yes she is. I asked her the name of her manager and she fumbled a bit with her words and said Bill was her mangager. I started walking away at this point and she yells for me to have a nice day! My son then asks me why that lady was so mean to us? Thinking about calling "Bill" about this incident. Have never been treated like this before. Love shopping at JcPennys but won't tolerate being treated like garbage. read more

The sephora from hell. Avoid the raging purple haired witch. She snarls at me for asking for a sample and this is the manager. My second experience with her was insane. I had bought a kit the day she snarled but the kat von d mini was oped and crushed and everywhere. I tested the items since they weren't going to be able to sell this one and I still wanted it. So I ask my loving husband to exchange it while I shop, I had another return to. My husband waited patiently for a rather long time then came to me and said an item was missing. I told him we could exchange that one later and to return the other. I go up there and the lady is whispering to the purple haired witch like we had done something horrible. We wait for a rather long time only to be met with the hostility of purple haired witch and jcpenny's manager. They come at me with full blown agrression, and mind you I am vib rogue meaning I spend thousands a year here. They refuse to do the exchange but my loving husband asked why can't you take the missing item from the new bag. They snap and him and say we can't do that with so much disrespect and attitude. My husband calmly says, "Why the f*** not?". They then go insane, start screaming at us to leave, they are calling security to remove us from the building. I'm like "I have things to purchase". They said you can make that purchase but then you have to leave and he can't come back with you. I begrudgingly buy these brushes I wanted badly from these horrible monsters meanwhile they have to people come up and start threatening to remove us from the building as I'm mid purchace. These stupid guards are talking shit threatening us like their going to drag us out because my husband used one explative not dirrected at a person. I pay and they appologize to the customers for our actions. Meanwhile these rediculious people are talking crap to us while trying to intimidate as we leave. Clearly they don't know it's illegal for them to lay a hand on me. Absolutely unacceptable. read more
