I stopped by this location/Target for toiletries after seeing an ad for a wellness event, in which the swag give out seemed cool, but it turned out to be incorrect. Not a total loss since I was able to browse, and grab toiletries, but still disappointing. The store layout was pretty confusing--grocery items near body sprays and baby products next to men's items didn't make much sense. Poor experience at this Target because of an associate named Amy who didn't want to do her job. I went in to return a couple $5 packs of Legos with no receipt. Amy immediately refused, claiming it was "policy" that Legos can't be returned without a receipt. That's false -- Target has no such rule; no-receipt returns are just handled case-by-case (store credit, card lookup, etc.), and Legos aren't on the exclusion list. Went back 30 minutes later, different associate, no problem at all. Annoying to have to make a second trip with my infant because Amy made up a policy instead of doing her job. read more

This is my neighborhood Target store and it's one that was recently redesigned to provide more space and super-bright white LEDs. The redesign was not needed IMO, but it does feel more open which is nice so you don't feel cramped walking around others. There's usually some good deals if you are patient. On one of my visits earlier in the year I found a newer modem for $60 that was marked down from $150. Amazon had for $160. On my most recent visit, Pillowfort brand items were 25% off. They make really cute decorations for kids' rooms. They also have a line of popular weighted stuffed animals (vary from 2-3lb). Full disclosure, our house has at least 8 different Pillowfort weighted animals sitting around. The kids and our cat loves them...and I enjoy the feeling of them on my legs or chest when relaxing. The grocery area has many of the items you will find at other supermarkets but you can find discounted chicken breasts and butcher items here within a few days of their pull date. If you get the Target card, you get 5% back on all of your Target purchases as well as help Target donate money to schools and charities. read more

My eldest daughter and I were on a road trip from Las Vegas, NV to Scottsdale, AZ in early April 2024. We ran out of water near the end of our trip. Always have water with you in the car regardless if you use them or not. Now if it's screeching hot and you don't have a cooler, then buy them as you need them. We were in the neighborhood and this Target revealed itself to us. Just in time LOL. Most Targets if not all Targets have the same layout. This one was no different. I knew exactly where to head for the water. I'm drawn to certain brands of water. There are one or two brands that I don't drink. They don't taste good IMHO. Anyhoo, we walked in, picked up a case of Dasani water as it was on sale, paid for it via self-check out, and walked out. Thank you Target! Very clean and organized store, found what we needed and bought a couple of things too.

If I could give no stars or negative stars, I would. I went to the Target at South Gilbert, AZ around 7:15 a.m. on 12/19/2025. The store was not busy at all, yet the experience was a complete failure from start to finish. At checkout, the register printed a completely blank receipt. The sales associate tried again with the same result. I was told the receipt was in the app or that a manager could print one later in the office. That is not acceptable. Customers have the right to receive a clear, readable receipt at checkout, especially when it's required for rebates or returns. This is also not the first time I've had receipt-printing issues at Target--previously receipts were blurry; this time it was entirely black. Because of the blank receipt, I had to go to Customer Service to return and rebuy the items. When I got there, no employee was present, there was no bell or way to request help, and multiple customers were left standing there with no acknowledgment. After waiting several minutes and calling out, no one responded. It took over 8 minutes before an employee finally appeared. Then I was told that returns and exchanges could not be processed at all due to system issues, regardless of whether I paid with a gift card or credit card. I was simply told to come back another day. Let that sink in: * The register couldn't print a receipt * Customer service computers were down * Returns couldn't be processed * And the store was still open for business Target's system and equipment failures caused this entire situation, yet the customer is expected to waste time, gas, and make another trip to fix Target's mistake. If a store cannot print receipts or process returns, it should shut down until systems are functional. This level of dysfunction is unacceptable for a major retailer. Target clearly no longer values customers' time or experience. Avoid this location unless you enjoy being inconvenienced and ignored. read more

This is one of our favorite target stores by our house. It's pretty big and has very good options whether it's clothing, kids toys, home or any other basic requirement. The shopping carts in target are my favorite, unlike other big box stores. I have never been a fan of their grocery or fresh fruits and veggies. I feel it's more like a display that they carry it all than actually paying attention to details. Overall love this location which has star bucks too and the service is good as well. Totally enjoy the ease of online ordering and picking. The pricing is competitive and can find good deals. read more

I was waiting in line already for CS when an older lady tried to help the other cashier. While there she acted like she cant scan my receipt and kept adking if i had my receipt.. i keep telling her its there. The sku number matches. When we were done she didnt RING the other items and stated that theres a line she cant help me. This person who represents "Target" cant even go out of her way to get everything done since shes already helping as she says.. she proceeded to say SHES NOT WORKING IN CUSTOMER SERVICE shes trying to help?! Like maybe she shouldnt have helped because I couldve waited longer if It means all that i needed was addressed. The location for this Target is great since it is right off the 202 freeway. I don't do too many Target runs to be honest as I have other favorite places. Today though I made a stop to get a quick gift and found lots of seasonal items for the holidays that I enjoyed. I got that cute pink gingerbread house just because lol I had to, it's pink & cute. The pricing for the store items I always find a bit above everywhere else but the store is organized and easy to navigate maybe that's what adds value. read more

Came to this Location today with my daughter in between helping her move to get some things for her new place. The location is huge and includes a grocery side and Starbucks. The location was clean and I loved their home decor section. I was impressed to see they still had quite a bit of Valentine's Day Items. Typically this close to any holiday most places don't have much left to choose from. We encountered quite a few employees who all said hello and asked if we needed any help. We used self check out to purchase our items and with no line we were in and out fairly quickly. read more

I freaking love Target! These guys just make the shopping experience so much better. For awhile my love drifted away from this place because of the prices being more but if I'm being honest if it means avoiding Walmart and the insane amounts of people, well I'll pay the little extra for that peace. First time ever in Gilbert, Arizona I was killing time before my movie. Unfortunately I discovered Regal doesn't have many locations in Arizona surprisingly. The only one being in Gilbert hence my reason to be in the area. I have to say that was one of the most beautiful Target store I've been too in such a long time. This location really knows how to lay out their store. All the shelves were fully stocked, the place was immaculate! All fixtures and displays were very modern and didn't feel dated. Bait and switch. This morning on Good Morning America they had a segment on Target deals that began today. They offered a Magna Tiles 84 piece set for kids with a regular price of $135 on sale for $81. I went to the website to purchase and instead of offering that set, all they offered was other sets at full price and not on sale. I called and spoke to a representative named Ken and he suggested I just select from one of the sets that was not on sale. Would not connect me with a supervisor and would not agree to have a supervisor call me back. I asked who I could contact to file a complaint and Ken suggested I go to my local Target store to complain. That won't be happening. Shame on Target and GMA for the shameful practice of Bait and Switch. read more

This is the worst Target in the Valley. I end up walking out without making a purchase about one of every three times I try to shop here. They don't have enough cashiers, their self-checkouts are super-slow and the store generally looks dirtier than it should be. And forget about the Starbucks. Every purchase I make at this Target's Starbucks has some sort of an issue. They are out of stuff, including cups, napkins and product. This is the closest store to my house, but I end up shopping at the Tempe Marketplace store because this one is so poorly run. read more

Worst customer service ever, a store in CA rang up my item as a dummy sku, went to return the item at this location bc I live in AZ and they said it's from CA so they will not refund my money bc the receipt says "unidentified" but miraculously has the same price $169.99 like everything in their store is that price. Called customer service and they said to go back to the store hand the manager my cell phone so they can ask for an override bc it's up to the managers discretion to help me??? So the manager Nathan could have done that in the first place?? It is not my fault someone rang my item up under a dummy sku. And it's not this store that did it but they are still Target. Jeter (David?) and Nathan know absolutely Nathan about their store policy of "free and easy returns". The newbie training and the young girl training him were amazing though. This target never Answers there phone. Called the other day because they forgot 2 items from my Pickup Order. On December 1st 2023 bought some spaghetti sauce went to cook it tonight and messed up my meat after noticing the sauce expired July 15th 2023. This Target is super. Really - it's a Super Target. Huge grocery section, their own Target in-store dining area, and a Starbucks too. Friendly employees were stocking shelves and asking my wife and I if we needed help finding anything. Great back to school section. Nice clearance end caps with good marked down deals. Love that these Super Targets are open an hour later than their regular stores in the area. Found some items and headed to the registers. Only one was open but self checkouts were open at each end of the register area also. Definitely one of the better Targets in the Southeast part of the Valley. read more

I visited Target Optical for my annual exam. I was a little skeptical, to be honest. Boy was I so wrong to even doubt my choice. It was pretty busy but Anna and Brian took the time to acknowledge me and let me know that the Dr would be with me soon. I waited maybe 5 min. In that time I watched and listened to them help other customers by being very knowledgeable on products and insurance. I saw Dr Riley. I had several questions and he took the time to answer all of them. He explained things well. He didn't rush me through, as I had been at other places. I would highly recommend him and his staff. This will be the place I return to for my contacts and glasses for years to come! read more

We needed to buy some supplies for the home and this was the one we went to on 6/28/21. The staff here were friendly and the aisles were clean. This was one of the larger Targets but I think it was standard these days for Target locations to be this big (i.e. Super Target size). There were quite a bit of people in here but then again it was expected for Target. Everything we needed was here so we will definitely be stopping by more frequently in the future. I had four friendly employees offer to help me find what I was looking for in different departments as I wandered around and then as I left, the cashier and I had a delightful chat that left is both smiling. It's a nice location and although it is not my closest Target, I do come here on occasion because they seem to have items in stock that my Target does not. It's a well maintained store, clean, and stocked. I shop at this Target location about once a week. It's convenient because it is on my way home from work. With the exception of the clothing department the store is neat and clean. They keep their shelves well stock as well. I love getting graphic tees and Target but I won't step foot in the clothing departments because they are a mess. Too many clothes stuffed onto racks, clothing on the floor getting run over by carts. It's terrible. The other Target stores in Chandler and Gilbert have cleaner and more professional looking clothing departments. My thoughts on customer service? I have done a few returns and never had a problem. The associates working at the return desk have always been friendly. I can't comment on the cashiers because I do self check out. Associates in the departments are hard to find and have not been been the most helpful. One example, I was looking for a new card game that just came out and ran across an associate in the toy department. I asked where the game was located and they told me they were sold out. I told them that I had just come from the Warner store and the associate there checked the computer and it showed that this location still had 30. He said that they had just sold out. No problem, that happens when items are on sale. But 2 rows down on an end cap I find a display of the game I'm looking for. Why didn't he check his computer? This location is has a few things they can work on, but the negatives do not stop me from dropping by of my way home from work to pick up a few things. read more

This is a really, really nice Target. The Clearance racks in every section are winners! You can literally find something useful at every Clearance section throughout the store. I stopped at plenty *smile* The book section is pretty nice as well, lots of good picks in the 20% section. The clothing sections are huge. I took a quick look in the women's clothing section but nothing sparked my attention. Really, really nice home décor. I was able to find really cute and inexpensive items for my desk at work (a cute mirror, pen/pencil holder, mouse pad, mug, picture frame and scented diffuser) all for less than $20 bucks. I'd say that's a steal. None of those items were on clearance but really reasonably priced. I didn't check out the grocery section because I really didn't need anything from that side of the store, maybe next time. read more

Rating: 1 star Review: I have been a Target RedCard member since October 2021 and always paid my bills on time, in excess of the minimum payment. In February 2023, for reasons still unknown, Target RedCard returned my 02/23 payment of $26.82 for "Payment Reversal - Backdate" and a notification was mailed to my husband's new address. He is 20 years older than me and I received it way after. As a result, I remained in the dark for six weeks thinking my RedCard account was paid in full. RedCard Services reported my account as delinquent, reduced my credit limit from $500 to $200, and sent a notice to my husband's address. Based solely on Target's credit bureau report, two more creditors reduced my credit limit, which in turn reduced my overall debt-to-credit ratio and my credit score dropped by more than 100 points overnight. I contacted Target RedCard Services in April 2023 to update my address, when I learned of the late payment, the reduction in available credit, and the reported delinquent payment to the credit bureaus, but RedCard refused to accept any responsibility or remove the hit from my credit report. They told me that I was responsible for the Keats Avenue address update, and if not me, the post office was to blame, but not Target. I never changed my address with Target RedCard or the post office before April 2023. Red Card said it understands that I don't like its decision, but it's not going to change; "the response is the response" and I need to take my dispute to the credit reporting agencies. If that isn't enough, the supervisor said I was upset and arguing with him and he is in charge of my credit. I asked him three times to repeat what he said, and what he meant, but he refused. I asked for the name of his supervisor, and he hung up. I am extremely disappointed with Target RedCard Services. As a result of their actions, my credit rating has been hit hard. I am now unable to get the home financing my daughter and I hoped for. This is corporate America stepping on the little guy and not caring. Shame on Target RedCard Services. Generally have an ok experience here. Not good but usually not bad either. My only frustration is having to argue with managers and cashiers because they try to not honor the sales that are posted in-store. I don't see why I need to take pictures of all the sales in order to prove to them that there is one... why can't they call another employee to go check instead of having the cashier and manager both just stand there trying to tell me I'm incorrect? read more
