I couldn't find anyone to assist me in three separate departments. The clothes weren't properly organized and I didn't want to spend hours sorting through the racks. I did find two tops I wanted to try on but I couldn't reach them and there was no one to help. I wound up leaving and headed over to Dillard's which will be a separate review and unlike this store, a few employees were more than happy to help me. Two stars is because they had a few things in the housewares department that I liked and those displays were put together nicely. Just wish I could have made a purchase. read more

I went here to look for pants for my teen son but everything is a mess. It is difficult to find items but the employees were helpful. This was a plus. They do have Sephora inside which always seems a bit odd but ok. I wouldn't shop here for myself but they do have dress slacks for teens and those are hard to find. read more

Today I shopped for Haggar pants in this J.C. Penney after reading the sign that said "$29.99 Haggar iron-free classic pants regular $70." I found three pairs on the hanger in front of the sign. When I took them to the register they were still $70. That is known as bait and switch. The pants on the shelf, of which there are few are on sale. That is the bait. All other classic pants are full price. That is the switch. The store would not honor the price because the classic Haggar pants I took to the register, the cashier claimed, came from the rod. I will never shop in this store again. I suggest when you shop at the Wellington Mall store you pay close attention to how they cheat the customers because it is how you will be cheated. Under the law, they should honor their sale sign. This store would rather cheat you than follow the law. read more

Spent over $320 for photos that weren't centred, and time wasn't made to ensure that someone's bra wasn't shown, no communication, and long wait time... I can keep going. I'm pretty sure they hired someone who just takes the basic photos and has quick software to "edit". My first experience with them and I was disappointed. All the photos were taken on the side and limps were cut off. Terrible. read more

This review is for Sephora in JCPenney. It is smaller than a regular Sephora, but decent. I just had bad luck because both things I wanted, they did not have. My friend gave me a skin care product for my birthday. Having sensitive skin I wanted to exchange it for make up. Sephora usually has decent amount of Tarte products. I usually stick with their foundations and concealers. This location was out of the color I needed. In Anastasia products I wanted mascara, but they did not have that particular one. The employees are super nice but the inventory sells fast or they don't get shipment as often. I will stick to my regular location of Sephora in Boca when shopping again. Side Note: This location may not have that much make up inventory but their skincare products along the wall are impressive and wide ranging from acne products to sensitive skin products. ~ read more

My daughter and her friends go to the mall regularly and always come back and tell me stories of how awful the make up section is. First of all disgusting! Second of all they are teenagers and this one lady in particular follows them around as if they're going to steal something. I find it very disrespectful that my daughter and her friends can't walk around and shop without being looked at as if they are criminals due to their age. I hope this gets looked into because I'm tired of hearing about the disrespect my girls are receiving! Do better, and stop judging teens behavior on other stereotypical teenager behavior. read more

Every once in awhile I'll find myself in a JCPenney browsing. Not necessarily a place I seek out, but not necessarily a place I wouldn't admit to shopping at either. I can find some decent deals on men's clothing there from time to time. The issue here is that they have one or two register stations for the entire floor. The lines congregate and you wait, you wait, and you wait some more. In line I waited 20 minutes to cash out. It becomes a point where you think, "is this deal really worth it?" The AC wasn't on either so that made standing in line even more fun. The cashier, although nice, was slow, which didn't help. After this experience, I'll stick to online shopping here. I'll pay shipping costs instead of wasting my time in that ridiculous line. read more

Jcpenney has always been my favorite store to shop, they carry everything for the house as well as wardrobe for every member of my family. Their prices are descent and it is always easy to find and use coupons when shopping here. With their recent remodeling taking place, I have noticed a change in their style as well. It takes time to get used to big changes when you're comfortable and have enjoyed what it used to be. I guess I'm not too happy or impressed with the changes and hope it gets better soon or many of us will be forced to shop elsewhere! read more

Photos, holiday cards, tree ornament... Their holiday package at portrait studio is exceptional. The photographer was very nice and competent. We will go there again... I just wish all the employees know where it is! Lol! The session time was at nine.... store does not open until 10! There was another entrance to get to studio on time! Tonight was the second occasion that I was blatantly ignored while looking for help in Sephora. I had been looking to get color matched, and clearly was looking around for help. I asked an employee for assistance.She looked at me, then looked away. I was about to spend more than $100.I am so glad I walked out. I will not be giving them a penny.
