I can not say enough about how wonderful Josh at JC's windows is. I found him online when I had a problem with the original company we were going to use no-showing for our follow-up appointment. I found Josh and left him a message explaining the situation I was in. He returned my call almost immediately and was extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. We made an appointment for him to go out to measure all of my Windows the next day. After speaking to Josh, the woman with the first company I planned on using called me and apologized for not meeting with me as scheduled. She explained that she must have misunderstood our plans, and she was very sorry. Since she already had all of the measurements and everything was picked out, I figured I would just take the path of least resistance as we were having a house built, and there was just too much going on-I didn't want to have to meet for yet another appointment that probably wasn't necessary.... So I contacted Josh, explained the situation and told him I wanted to cancel our appointment. He was SO nice about it-he said he understood, but said he would still like to just go out and measure for me and provide a quote, if I was ok with that-he said I didn't have to be there for it, but that he could GUARANTEE that he could save me money over the other company. I was skeptical, but thought "Why not? It's worth a try." I wasn't expecting that there would really be much of a difference in price. Boy, was I ever wrong!!!! Josh saved us so much money that we were able to get shutters in our game room, which we couldn't afford to do with the other company's prices. We got extra shutters AND saved $3000! No lie.... and everything came in exactly when he said they would, installation went smooth, and we could NOT be any happier! Not only did Josh save us a ton of money and deliver excellent service, but he's the nicest guy-friendly, down to earth, and even serves his community as a Houston Firefighter. My wife and I were considering window shades for our 2nd floor town home, specifically to block out light. This would not only lower our A/C bill (we jut had a new unit installed), but would allow for sleeping in on weekends Fortunately, while doing some spring cleaning, my wife came across the business card for JC's Window Treatments. JC's had installed the blinds that were still in the windows, when she purchased the townhouse in 2003. We had be been happy with those blinds and how well they had been installed and had held up for the last 14 years. Since the experience had been so good, my wife called and was happy that the number was still good and that Josh was still the owner. She set an appointment for Josh to come out and measure the windows and discuss what would work best. He quickly scheduled a time to come out. He made some great recommendations based on what we wanted. The shades he recommended look great, are easy to raise and lower, and block out about 95% of the light. Some light still filters in from the sides of the shades, but we believe that can be remidied. My house flooded during Hurricane Harvey and the builder needed me to remove our plantation shutters on the windows ASAP to put up the Sheetrock. I could not get a hold of the person that I originally bought the shutters from so I searched the internet and found Josh (JC's window). I explained my story to Josh and the very next day, he had his installer help us remove the shutters so we can start rebuilding our house. Not only did the installer help us remove the shutters, he stored them for us during reconstruction since our house was an absolutely mess. After the construction was completed, I gave Josh a call and the next day, our shutters were back and installed beautifully. He promptly set up an appointment, took the time to explain our options, and ordered our blinds. We had the blinds delivered in the time frame he quoted which was very fast.
