Kim Van Wieren came out to do my in-home estimate, and he brought a massive amount of samples to look through. After coordinating with my sister who lives overseas, we settled on a colour and amount of transparency. Once the shades were ready, Kim came back out and did the installation. I could not be happier with the quality and the overall look. Switching from the old dated plastic miniblinds to modern shades made the room really come alive. I'm a little late with my review. We had blinds and static arches installed in my daughter's home back in June 2020. During our initial search for a blind company, we had 2 companies no show on their consultation appointments. Not wanting to waste the day, I searched out new companies on Yelp. i would not recommend them. Installed shutters and a few were cracked. He said he would order replacements and get them installed. i paid in full and he never replaced the broken shutters. (beware- won't do that again) Chased him down a few times " i am coming to replace them - never happened. i just gave up. read more

We are very pleased with Kim who came twice to our home. I was hesitant at first as I only saw plantation shutters on Yelp but I contacted a number of shade stores and I'm glad we went with Kim. Firstly, he was able to come on short notice to show me the samples. I agreed with his recommendations for shades and booked him the same day. I requested a second visit to make sure my husband was ok with my selection. After 3 weeks of waiting, our roller shades were ready!
