My grandparents live out there and getting around to keep things done grows a little harder for grandparents everyday. My sweet grandfather went to see my high school friend Joseph after calling several places last week needing to get his battery on his truck replaced. He had a stroke several years ago and has never regained full use of his hand. He called several places that wouldn't do it, then he went down to C&C where Joseph not only took the time out to help my grandfather but took the time to talk to him (if you know my grandfather, you know he loves to have a conversation). This is the good that comes out of a small town that's sometimes overlooked and I am thankful for it. My grandfathers independence is important to him and Joseph helped him maintain that with dignity.

When a different mechanic put a belt on wrong that was making a funny noise, they fixed it in 5 minutes for free. Regardless of how fast these people can change a tire, it'll may still take a bit for them to drive out to you. We were 20 minutes out of Waco and it took about 35-40 minutes for our person to show up. I'm not sure how many people actually work here since the person who took my call was also the person to come change our tire. I ended up having to ping him my location since I was having difficulty figuring out where exactly on the highway we were. He worked quickly, was knowledgeable about the situation, and was very friendly the entire time. When we were billed, he said he was an independent contractor so he negotiated the price with us. The total ended up being $75, which I think is pretty reasonable considering how quickly he worked and how much less expensive this was than calling a tow truck.

I never used the key because I have push to start so it wasn't an issue until recently when I dropped my fob and it fell apart. I initially called AutoNation and was told that since I didn't have the key, I would have to purchase 2 key fobs at the price of over $600.00 and that didn't include cutting or reprogramming. I was told that I could purchase a key fob on Amazon for around $40 and have the key cut and the fob reprogrammed. So, I decided to go that route. The first place I called said they had the key fob I needed for my car and would charge me $130 and could come out the next day to complete the job. They texted me the next morning and asked if I still needed their services and I told them I did. He then proceeded to say the person I spoke to yesterday had quoted me the wrong price and that it would Actually be $180.00. He said since I was initially quoted the lower price they would honor it. When the guy arrived he took my key fob to his van and came back and said he didn't have it after telling me the day before he did. He said he would have to order it and would have it the next day and it would be, you guessed it, $180.00! How convenient. So, I told him I wouldn't need his services. A friend told me about Waco Lock & Key, I called and made an appointment. My son took my car to them because I had to work. They were very professional and friendly. My son left with not only 1 key fob but 2 (they fixed my old one) for the Exact price they quoted and it was lower than Both of the initial quotes. The next day I called them because I was trying to use the key (that I had Never used before) and I was having trouble getting the door unlocked. They said that they made sure the key and fob were working and I could bring it to them after work and they would recheck it. They also sent me a video on how to unlock my car and it turns out I was doing it incorrectly and it did indeed work. I Highly recommend this company, they are very polite, professional and go above and beyond to satisfy their customers needs.
