I ended up taking it to a Nissan dealership where it has sat in the shop for three months waiting for their extended warranty (CarMax ) to kick in and cover it. I then had to provide 10 oil change receipts and they made Nissan scope the entire motor to prove that it was nothing on my part that caused a piece of metal to chunk off of in to the motor. They took their time to the point we had to buy a new vehicle elsewhere. Carmax has managed to lose my paperwork on my gap insurance as well, and I've had to do all the legwork of providing original documents to prove what they sold me. their lack of response and customer service is a joke once they sell a car they have no regards for you and they are downright selling crap cars and getting away with it. they will not help you once you are out the door. how they are getting away with it legally case by case is ridiculous. i Will never touch CarMax again. I been on several platforms against CarMax for their less than mediocre sales and practices

My husband and I totally understand that it takes a while for all the services to be completed and we're okay with that but after the young man that had done the work on our pickup brought in the paperwork and my husband's keys to said young man behind the computer at the counter the said young man turned his back, before calling us up to the counter, for approximately 5 minutes vaping to get his nicotine fix. He finally called our name and the transaction was completed. We didn't appreciate having to wait for his nicotine fix to be done. End of rant.

The car was meant to be junked, but they illegal fixed the car and put it back on the road. They have been racking up tolls for months and wouldn't go to the DMV to switch it to their name even though they have the title. Any time i call Junior, he tells me:"we've gotten rid of the car". You call Ricardo, he never picks up. Registration has expired but they are still driving the car. This guy is doing something illegal. The business address he listed on here is incorrect. I already knew I was NOT going to a car dealership. I instead found a few cars with Hertz in Killeen. I was lining up financing at my credit union and the loan officer referred me to CMC. I never would have considered buying a car from a little place on the side of the road but it turned out GREAT! I was shown a few cars that were too small but they said they had one being serviced and would be getting it back the next morning. That car turned out to be the one I purchased. I got a decent amount for my trade in and was on my way in about an hour. This NEVER happens, but I even got my plates the next day. Overall stress free and positive experience.
