I am extremely grateful to the three gentlemen at this Ford body shop who helped me after I was involved in an accident near West in April. From the moment they arrived, they treated the situation with genuine care and professionalism. They towed my car from the scene and contacted an Enterprise location in Waco so I could find a rental and continue my trip. Since it was graduation weekend, rental availability throughout the area was extremely limited. Their relationship with the Enterprise team made a significant difference and helped ensure that I was not left stranded. They also drove me into Waco and made sure I would be taken care of by the rental company's team for the rental process. Even though the shop was preparing to close, they did not leave until everything related to the accident had been addressed and they knew I had a safe way to continue my journey. It was already a difficult and uncomfortable experience for me with the car accident, but their empathy and willingness to go far beyond what was expected made the situation feel far less overwhelming. Five stars for the sales department, today the young man behind the computer in the service department not so much....brought our F150 in for "The Works" since we had purchased a service package. My husband and I totally understand that it takes a while for all the services to be completed and we're okay with that but after the young man that had done the work on our pickup brought in the paperwork and my husband's keys to said young man behind the computer at the counter the said young man turned his back, before calling us up to the counter, for approximately 5 minutes vaping to get his nicotine fix. He finally called our name and the transaction was completed. We didn't appreciate having to wait for his nicotine fix to be done. End of rant. read more

These guys saved me BIG TIME last week. My truck started jumping in and out of gear on my way from Austin to DFW after I recently had my transmission completely overhauled under the powertrain warranty about 45 days prior, and I had important meetings to make it to that day. They were noticeably busy, but were still able to run a quick diagnostic to see what was wrong, then the foreman tech came to assist and said it could be a simple fix of the transmission fluid valve temperature gauge. He drove it around for a few minutes, then took it to the back to replace the malfunctioning part, and I was back on the road in no time! Can't say enough how much I appreciate these guys for saving my butt. Highly recommend going to see them for any service or repairs. I'm incredibly thankful to them! read more

My tire popped on the interstate while passing through town on a work trip. They were quick to send someone with a tow to the shop. Upon arrival they informed me that they did not have the proper sized tire for my vehicle in stock, however they were willing to call all around to find me a tire. After several phone calls they found a tire at a shop 15 min away. They were quick to send someone to go pick it up for me. Overall excellent service and more importantly excellent people. While I did not catch the name of the man who gave me the tow, I am very thankful to him and my service advisor Trent. Trust me... these are the people you want to give your business to. read more

TLDR: Extremely rude and unprepared customer service representatives. Left the customer feeling reprimanded, unwelcome, and like a bother. The company I work for has been using Sykora Family Ford for a few years for regular servicing on our vehicle. Aside from the fact that the vehicle we were sold has had a number of recalls issued on it and we have had to take it in pretty consistently for those replacements, we have not had many complaints. They are fine. I want to leave a review about a very poor customer service experience we had recently (via telephone). First, the person who ran our transaction at the time had a difficult time using the payment system and had to cancel and rerun it multiple times. We did not see the transaction come through to the bank, so instead of leaving it up to them to hunt us down, we called to double check. It was a curtesy call. I have worked in customer service and know the difficulty of being efficient with your time while hearing lengthy descriptions from the customer on the phone. So, I always try to be succinct and helpful while on the phone with someone in customer service. The person who answered the phone seemed rushed, demanded information that did not pertain to my request and were things I would not know as a customer (like inter-office related details). She also cut me off multiple times when trying to answer her questions. She blind forwarded me to another representative's voicemail before I could finish answering one of her questions. Instead of leaving a message, I called back to see if it was within her capacity to check a balance, since she had said she could check on some things but didn't clarify what she could or couldn't help with. Let me be clear that I was very patience and unruffled. I hold myself to a high standard of respect for busy representatives. In fact, I had a flush of anxiety about bothering her by calling back again. She again cut me off and transferred me to the representative. Luckily, this person was patient enough to let me state my request. She also held an exasperated tone of voice and asked questions about different types of statements that I just don't think most customers would have reference for, but was able to quickly make the simple balance check that I was requesting. To the company: We understand you are busy. But why would you expect customers to utilize your business if they feel shamed, reprimanded and unwelcome? Our company is very dissatisfied with your customer service. Please invest in your front office representatives' continuing education and re-evaluate their work load, or consider hiring employees who are capable of maintaining basic respect and consideration, even with your busy schedule. read more

Went by there yesterday to look at a used car they had. Went through the entire car; no one ever came out. Then went inside and receptionist was on phone, she got off and didn't say one word to me and got up from her chair and walked off. No one ever came out to help me. Very disappointed with this family owned dealership. I left and needless to say won't be back due to poor customer service. read more

We can't thank Sykora Family Ford enough!!! We were traveling in our way to Wisconsin while pulling our 5th wheel when we heard a loud bang in the engine. . We limped to the side of the road and called Sykora where Steve answered the phone in service and quickly assessed the problem. We limped the rest of the way to the dealership where they met us and replaced our broken turbo hose without even having to unhook our camper. We were in and out in less than 45 minutes!! My daughter was alone and terrified and I made a call to Sykora looking for help. They came to her rescue quickly and got her and her vehicle off the freeway. On my way up to Ft. Worth, I blew out a tire in West and, after changing to the spare, found my way to the Ford dealership. They did not have the right size for my car -- apparently a 19-inch tire is so unusual that nobody ever has them. But the service department helped me every other way they could -- they helped repair my spare tire (which was going flat itself), they rotated the spare to the back so I could drive safely and they called every tire shop and dealership within 50 miles to find me a tire. They were so kind -- and they would not accept a penny for all that they had done. I wish more service businesses would take a cue from JT and the staff of the service department at Sykora Family Ford. I've never bought a Ford before, but this experience has made me seriously consider driving all the way up to West the next time we need a car. read more

I wish I could add more stars to this review! I cannot offer enough thanks and appreciation for all of this dealerships help to me this past week! I'm a 70+ year old female who was driving alone on I-35 after helping my daughter move to Ft. Worth. I was traveling through West in heavy traffic when I ran over something on the highway that blew out my right front right tire!! I'm sure I don't need to explain what traffic is like at rush hour on I-35 while driving a small car surrounded by huge 18 wheel trucks on both sides. When the blowout occurred, I was in a very dangerous situation and actually was afraid for my life. I couldn't cross the highway on foot because of the heavy traffic (not to mention the concrete barrier) and knew nothing to do except call 911. A wonderful police officer from West arrived within 10 minutes or so and called your dealership to help me. Their guys arrived in a short period of time and put my car on a tow truck, explaining that it was too dangerous to change on the side of the road (I agree!) I was worried about what it was going to cost but had no choice but to have it towed. I waited comfortably in their waiting room and a little while later, one of the service men came in and told me that he had rotated the back tire to the front and put my spare on the back. He felt it was safer, and told me to drive 55 mph the rest of the way back to College Station. When I went to check out, I was given an invoice with a $.00 balance!!! My emotions were already frayed, and when I saw the bill, I couldn't help but burst into tears. I truly feel that God protected me from what might have been a terrible tragedy and then showed me even more mercy by allowing me to receive help from the kind and caring people at Skykora Ford. You can bet that I will "pay it forward" and I will also write reviews with as many stars as are allowed!! It's easy to get discouraged these days and think that people don't really care, but it's so wonderful to know that there are still good people out there who will help someone in need.THANK YOU to the management and all the kind folks at Sykora Ford and may God bless them richly for your kindness to me!!! read more

My power steering belt broke headed south on 35, doing 75 (speed limit). After reviewing Yelp for this Ford Dealer and one in the next town south, I chose this one due to the positive reviews. I was not disappointed as my husband and I negotiated with them for my car repairs from 144 miles away. We found them friendly and honest! Shout out to Steven who kept us informed and reassure we would get our car back. So they fit us in without an appointment and got the SUV repaired and out of there by mid day of day two after the parts came in.
