Exactly what you expect in an authentic street taco. I got chicken and steak and they were both so good I was mad that I didn't get more.

This hidden gem, was fantastic. I absolutely LOVED this…read moreplace. I was pleasantly surprised. I'd read good reviews but was somewhat apprehensive just because it wasn't crowed on a Friday night. That was okay. The salsa was tasty, somewhat spicy, but not overly so. Chips were PERFECTLY seasoned, I didn't need to add any salt! The appetizers were INCREDIBLE! They blew my mind. Mami's Egg-rolls made me forget Chili's ever did a southwest egg roll. Who are they? And the Birria Fries...BURSTING with flavor. They were fantastic. I'm reminiscing as I write this and I'm so sad I don't have any. Perfect amount of cheese, birria was tender and FULL of flavor, served over deliciously seasoned fries and garnished with red onions. 10/10 My chile relleno was perfection. My friend ordered a chimichanga, if you're a meat lover, this is for you. She complained there was too much meat. My husband got the happy plate. His order was messed up and they replaced it very fast with many apologies. It was lacking some flavor but I chalk it up to the rush to fix his order. Overall the service was 10/10. The food was 9/10. And the ambiance of the place was very very cute. I loved the art and the feel of the place!

My group of 6 went on a Saturday night at 6:30PM. We were sat immediately. My husband got the chili…read morerellano with chicken, which we agreed was, hands down, the best chili rellano we have ever had. I got the choose your two combo, it was absolutely phenomenal! We were in and out in under an hour! Will definitely be returning!

1st time @ Pedro's (Juban's Crossing) and was really impressed…read more Chips/Salsa were 9/10 - chips were light, not oily/heavy. Salsa is fresh - not watery, a 'deep' flavor and a little spicy. White queso was perfect - consistency and flavor. Ordered the carnitas street tacos (onion/cilantro) - 9/10. Well-proportioned and great flavor, though I prefer smaller pieces of pork. The sides (Charro beans and Mexican rice) taste better than just an entree afterthought - 9/0. IMO, Pedro's is a top 3 Mexican spot in Baton Rouge.

$100+ dollars down the drain! Between having an inattentive waiter, raw chicken and food that…read moretasted down right disgusting I don't know if we'll be back. This was my daughter's favorite place to go but all of us left disappointed with our meal. For full disclosure we had: Chips and salsa: just added some salt and was good to go Queso: that was good Corn appetizer: I was throw off because the last time we got it, it was on the cob vs this time it was in a bowl so it just seems to be inconsistent... but overall we enjoyed it. Fajitas: we got the trio... chicken was in huge chunks and was still pink in the middle. We returned it to finish cooking... the steak and shrimp were okay but overall bland. Side of rice: dry and bland Taco Salad with ground beef: Tasted rancid and nasty... no one could eat it and made child nauseous. Tamale meal: bland; lacked flavor Management didn't even care that we had issues with our food. Just had attitude.
