Exactly what you expect in an authentic street taco. I got chicken and steak and they were both so good I was mad that I didn't get more.

White queso was perfect - consistency and flavor. Ordered the carnitas street tacos (onion/cilantro) - 9/10. Well-proportioned and great flavor, though I prefer smaller pieces of pork. The sides (Charro beans and Mexican rice) taste better than just an entree afterthought - 9/0. IMO, Pedro's is a top 3 Mexican spot in Baton Rouge.

This was my daughter's favorite place to go but all of us left disappointed with our meal. For full disclosure we had: Chips and salsa: just added some salt and was good to go Queso: that was good Corn appetizer: I was throw off because the last time we got it, it was on the cob vs this time it was in a bowl so it just seems to be inconsistent... but overall we enjoyed it. Fajitas: we got the trio... chicken was in huge chunks and was still pink in the middle. We returned it to finish cooking... the steak and shrimp were okay but overall bland. Side of rice: dry and bland Taco Salad with ground beef: Tasted rancid and nasty... no one could eat it and made child nauseous. Tamale meal: bland; lacked flavor Management didn't even care that we had issues with our food. Just had attitude.
