Nothing screams "legitimate 4.3-star rating" like 16 glowing reviews from what I can only assume are the owner's employees, family members, or close personal friends. The margaritas tasted like dishwater. The quesabirria tacos were somehow worse than Taco Bell (a true achievement), and the queso fundido tacos didn't even try to compete. The salsa was completely bland and flavorless, and the chips were stale enough to double as roofing shingles. There are actually several solid Mexican restaurants within a 10-minute drive. Do yourself a favor and go to one of those instead. This place is a hard pass. read more

After shopping on Juban and having an absolutely TERRIBLE experience at Pedro's, we came here. Night and day. Greeted warmly by staff. Service was amazing. Our waitress Reagan was sweet, prompt, courteous and genuine. Even the manager came out to make sure the food was good. It was delicious. Highly recommend. We even got to hear some live music. I am a very staunch critic of Mexican food. From the moment we walked in this place was great. Jackie our server was phenomenal and very knowledgeable. As I am sure all there servers are. She had perfect timing on coming to the table which is admirable. The food was 2nd to none. Black bean dip was off the charts. Fundido dip was authentic and not pre-made. The happy plate trio was perfect. Usually meats are so-so when it comes to juicy Ness and tenderness but it was perfect as well. 5 stars overall. Even got dip to go. Well worth it. read more

Ambiance was nice and the service was great. The food was good and didn't have any problems other than the prices. They actually have a pitcher of margaritas for $38.00 WHAT??? That's double the price everywhere else we've been. We got the 2x1 margarita special and they was NOT all that. Seemed watered down so really glad we didn't get a pitcher. The best thing about this place was how freaking amazing the bathroom smelled. Seriously, whatever air freshener they use is wonderful. read more

This building used to be the old Papi's. It used to be one of my favorite Mexican restaurants until the flood of 2016 and then it was just never the same. New ownership and a whole fresh look and vibe. We really really enjoy coming here. The outside patio is quaint and the live music is pretty good. The food is very good. The menu has a lot of different options to choose from. Everything that we have tried has been very very good. Has a very authentic atmosphere and the weight staff is very friendly and quick. My girls and I were lurkin in Denham springs with an empty stomach and we happen to stop by this cute spot! I've driven past this place many a times but when we came in the host was so sweet and very accommodating. Our server was attentive and helpful when we weren't sure what to get. The servings of food are very hefty! Great sustenance! I like it here and I believe the next person will too ! read more

this place just opened up and it is so beautiful! They did a great job with the renovation. I had a fajita Potter and it was so flavorful and not too salty like fajitas sometimes come. I also had a frozen strawberry margarita that was amazing. Really taste like strawberries. Dad would recommend. They also have live music some nights. read more

The service was amazing we were greeted at the door. Once we were seated and looking over the menu we were greeted and asked if we had any questions feel free to ask. The Atmosphere was great they had a live band playing it was a Friday night but they also stated they have music mostly Wednesday through Friday. We really enjoyed the band. The food well I would say a 10 . Definitely the best Mexican restaurant in Louisiana . I reside in Denham Springs and we definitely have a few Mexican restaurants for sure but hands down it's the best . I had the Steak and I have to say it was better than steakhouse I will definitely recommend this restaurant the food was delicious the service was great.I will definitely be back I'm a regular customer now read more
