If anyone knows me, my car is always filthy. I'm in sales, which requires me to spend many hours in my car traveling up and down the northeast region. Between all of the traveling and meals I've eaten in my car, I needed a specialist to get my car clean again. I contact JD Services and received a quote, which I've found to be very reasonable. They arrived at my residence prior to the appointment time and immediately got to work. The attention to detail they had was incredible. They even got that molded French fry stuck between my seat and center console. After they were finished, my car looked like the day I bought it. Dom and his partner were so polite and respectful. I was very disappointed that the owner/employee did not provide the high standard of work that he claimed he does for his customers. He was not able to vacuum much of the dog fur, especially in the hatchback part of my car. He called to say that he would not charge me. I insisted he take some money for the rest of the car. On closer look, the outside of the front windshield was still dirty. I showed him & he reminded me he wasn't charging me. Said he did not have time to finish the car. At home, I saw that the glove compartment was dirty/never opened. The door jambs were very dirty & I am not sure he even washed & waxed the car. The front seat & dashboard looked fine. After reading all his glowing reviews, I found out that last year he detailed my son's car & didn't do a great job. He acted so conscientious & caring when he gave me a quote...what happened? I was counting on taking some friends on a trip & needed my car cleaned that day. I waited a few hours for him to clean it. I rate him a 1. I was very disappointed with this company. My full service detail ended up as a limited vac & clean. The vacuum used was not able to get most of the pet fur in the hatchback section. The front window still had a dirty film on the outside which I had to point out! The indoor of the door jambs and the inside of the glove compartment were filthy. The owner/employee declined to charge me, but I gave him some money for the little amount that did look nice. He was supposed to WASH & wax...I am not sure if that really happened. He concluded by saying that he had a lot to do & didn't have any more time to try & clean the car better (in so many words}. The young man acted so conscientious & respectful initially crediting himself with very high standards {thus he did not charge me}. That is not the point! I haven't had the service yet. But I booked. 2nd review coming. They do mobile services on Friday Saturday and Sundays and they come to you! Young entrepreneur's that are local. This sounds like something the people should surround themselves with and support. read more
