Very glad I hired Esco's, Adrian is respectful, expedient, & efficient. The only thing I would improve is the scheduling as he tended to run a bit late, but within less than an hour so not a problem. Main point is the entire property (front, back, both sides) was raked, blower swept, bagged & cleaned completely. He even took note when I made a special request for specific areas with budding plants (good attention to detail). When all done I inspected & mentioned he missed a small spot that was hidden behind bins & he immediatelty cleared it, but it was important to see his response to an unexpected request--very expedicious & courteous while others might balk or challenge homeowner. I am very satisfied with the results, and even requested he put me on a monthly maintenance plan. His price was reasonable for the value I got. I believe they will take care of this property and customize to the specific needs & concerns I have with my cats and foliage. I highly recommend this company. They didn't just throw plastic down and put rock on top, they dug down several inches and removed the old soil, I highly doubt grass or even weeds will grown back. Eli, the owner was quick to send an estimate, they started the day they said they would and came everyday until it was finished. There was a small issue they forgot, I contacted him and he was here early the next morning to fix it. It's obvious Eli has a lot of experience in landscaping and all aspects, he is knowledgeable on trees and shrubs for this area. He's patient, dependable, reliable, and they cleaned up after they finished. I was out of town when they did the work. I have heard so many stories of people giving a contractor money and they disappear or don't finish the job, etc. My neighbor said she's wants to hire them. And they can finance.

But when attempts to get him to do follow-up services became more and more difficult, I knew it was time to seek greener pastures (no pun intended). So, what do you do when your former lawn care guy develops a case of CRS and forgets to respond to that text you sent him two weeks ago? Why, you hire the folks at Guzman Lawn & Landscape, of course! Naturally, I found this local landscape company via Yelp. And, I mean...not only did these guys clear my yard of the 3 to 5 foot tall weeds that were multiplying faster than a viral meme on the Internet; they did so for nearly $80 cheaper than my former lawn care dude! I was seriously impressed! Here's another thing. Rather than waste my time spraying some mystery chemical on the weeds and dragging out the extraction process by waiting another two weeks for the chemicals to kill the plants so they could THEN cut my grass (like the previous guy did), these guys get right to it and eliminate the weeds the day they get there. Granted it took him about 5 hours because those weeds were almost as tall as my 5'7" son...it was worth the wait. And payment was easy and secure. They'll issue a digital invoice upon request. The only reason I don't give them a perfect score is because getting a quote from the owner took longer than it should have. Apparently, he doesn't take phone calls and only communicates via text--which is fine for an introvert like me. But the communication process in the beginning felt like I was texting someone who spoke a totally different language. In the end though, we got it all sorted out. They even offered to do a 3 week follow-up treatment for a lower price. I may follow that up whenever the weeds first start rearing their ugly heads out the sand again. For now...I'm giving Guzman Lawn & Landscape 4 sprouting weeds awaiting imminent death by weed-wacker out of 5.
