There were some communication problems with an employee. Once Eric (and Fred) found out about the communication issue, Eric took over and ALL of the issues were quickly resolved and I had my boat back within a few days. Eric even provided some financial credit back to me due to the problems I had encountered. Sometimes in life you run across a person who creates problems with communication and follow-through; that's life. But the way Eric took over and solved all of the issues (and within my stated budget) was remarkable! That's the kind of business I want to work with... IF problems occur; apologies made; and problems fixed with honesty and integrity. I have taken my boat to J & H Marine for several years. I am always impressed with their work and attitude. J & H is a great place to take your boat!

Super friendly family operated business that took care of me above and beyond in a time of need. My…read moreexperience was with my trailer so I can't speak to boat repair, but I can speak to the quality of service and integrity these people have. I broke down with my family when my bearings started smoking on my boat trailer, no other regular mechanic would do the job but they told me to bring it in, this was 8:00am. I got there 30 minutes later and had 3 guys come out and were already working in my trailer in minutes. They figured out the problem, sent me out to get parts after recommending 2 places. Before leaving one guy thought to check the bearings on the other side and sure enough both needed to be replaced. Brought two sets back, they installed everything while I went to grab a bite to eat and by 11:30 I was out of there for an honest price of $445. That's about $140 per hour labor or less since there were some parts and tax. Honest family that heard my story, realized my situation that I was 3+ hours from home and would likely never see them again and they still went above and beyond for me! Highly recommended!!
