They are very friendly and easy to work with. Very knowledgeable about wildlife and how to deal with it when it invades your property. They handle the animals completely humanely, returning them to their wild habitats, far enough away from human homes. Pricing is extremely reasonable. They captured four raccoons that had been breaking into our attic all winter. It only took two days to catch them all. They left the traps a few more days, to be sure, and caught a possum as a bonus! JD's Wildlife Services responded immediately after we called, assessed the 2 holes made by raccoons and set the traps. The next day, we had 2 male raccoons caught and JD took them away. After resetting the trap twice, making sure there were no other animals, they came, took the traps and even fixed our roofs preventing the weather from doing anymore damage. John has 15-years experience & is healthy & can climb on roofs, crawl under decks, lift heavy animals. AND he helps the property owner to calm down yet he works gently with the animals. We had very aggressive raccoons, yet John wasn't afraid & he set a trap. Very next day the mama was in the trap. John pulled her babies out of the nest by removing a deck board to easiest reach them. They were all unharmed when they were gathered up & taken away. John also climbed my roof & examined to see if there were signs of roof damage & infestation into my attic. He also checked all around my foundation & window wells. Completely thorough job done. I had John install very sturdy stainless grates over my power roof attic fan & mushroom attic vents as there were no internal barriers to stop critters from entering my attic through them. This has been my second time calling JD's Wildlife for HELP! The first time was 5 years ago when we moved into our "dream" home only to have occupants living in the attic. I was convinced something was going to come through the ceiling. They responded first thing the very next morning. Within minutes, they knew exactly what we were dealing with, (a family of raccoons). They were patient, beyond friendly, reassuring, and explained everything in great detail. Everything they told me to expect, happened. Every night for the next 6 nights, I heard a cage door locking. Once they were sure the raccoons were gone, they told us exactly what we could do to lessen the chances of it happening. 5 years later, we called once again. I knew it wasn't a raccoon based on what they had previously told us. Once they answered, I immediately felt relief. Well, this time it was a squirrel. We first used JD's Wildlife Services in October, 2012 to remove a large dead male deer that had been struck by a vehicle somewhere else and came to our yard to die. The service they provided was prompt, professional and reasonably priced. We kept some pictures of their work because we were so impressed. A few days ago, 1/11/19, "lightning struck again"! We have never had to use a service like this before so I had no idea what to do in a situation where we had a raccoon invading our attic. I searched on Google and this company came up. I called them early They immediately returned my call and came out the same day to help us with our problem. They were very nice, professional and quick to help us and reasonable priced. I would not recommend this company to anyone. The owner was very rude and seemed to only care about money. His prices were unbelievable and takes advantage of customers in need. I hope to find a company in the future who is not only professional but most importantly compassionate to the animals.
