As soon as you left the entry area the ambiance changed to candle lighting and Zen-like music. I loved the fact that in the lady's lounge they had my name on my locker (nice personalized touch!). They provided a nice robe and shoes for my visit. I changed and went into the relaxation lounge which was lovely. Relaxing chairs, snacks and beverages including mimosas and champagne. Luis was my massage therapist and he arrived at the lounge on time to take me back. I booked a 50 minute Swedish massage. Luis asked if there were any problem areas that needed to be targeted. It was excellent! I like that the table was warmed before I arrived, your feet were cleaned with a warm towel at the beginning and end. I also appreciated when he went to work on my upper back he put a towel over my hair so I didn't have the oil left to deal with later. When I finished up I took a nice shower in the ladies lounge. I left feeling like a relaxed, pancake. lol If you're looking to treat yourself or a friend to a wonderful spa experience this should be your choice!

I was counting down until my massage was up if that tells you anything. My service provider seemed very checked out. The selling merchandise on check out is odd and seems to be very encouraged because those girls sure can harsh a mellow. Would love to see someone come in and revamp and spend some time on training staff if they want to charge luxury prices the services should reflect that.

The eyebrow tech literally waxed, and that was all, didn't cut the hair, or pluck remaining hairs. The gel manicure was so amateurish I couldn't believe I paid $96. It will surely peel off within the week. Go elsewhere for these services.

I was hoping for a little head and neck massage with shampoo, but no such luck here! This is a nice place with good service, but not comparable to the luxurious Trellis Spa at Houstonian!! The Trellis is still best in Texas or USA!! True pampering -- Waterway Marriot calls itself a Spa, but a nice hair salon. No special bells or whistles. Same price as real spa, just do not expect the pampering here. I will return and hope this Spa rises to its name! Sweet to receive gift certificates here, since friends read that this Spa Waterway looks and seems so fancy!! I will try again another month- my second time, so maybe three will be a charm! Left sun glasses here last time. We called several times to remind that we will be there to get them. We were told they are saving them for us. . No one knew about them today. Do not leave anything behind!! Receipt for services was a long thin strip of paper, not even an inch thick. Checking out when your friends and family call or order expensive gift certificates for you may be a hassle. Be prepared to find your codes! I am not certain if gift certificates are appreciated here, even when hundreds of dollars are spent to surprise us with amazing experiences at the most impressive places possible.

I've been a member at this location for almost 2 years. My very first service appointment wasn't…read morethe best, however, after voicing my concerns, management really made sure they rectified the issue and provided me with quality care thereafter. My overall experience since then has been amazing! Upon entering, the pleasant aroma hits you in the face and instantly puts you in relaxation mode. The kind ladies at the desk always offer coconut or regular water and share their recommendations for service add ons. In addition, they ensure you feel safe by informing you of the attention buttons located on the massage tables. The restrooms are always clean, the hallway lights are dim/calming, and the massage rooms are welcoming. I love the option to heat the bed, it enhances the experience for sure. I initially started going here for self care/relaxation purposes. I tried the massages then transitioned to the facials. Huge shoutout to Renee who gives the BEST massages. She has such a cool, carefree energy about her. She listens to understand and gives you the ultimate experience you seek. Amani is another beautiful soul. Her calm energy is contagious and she does a great job with making sure she tailors your experience uniquely. You will definitely not receive any cookie cutter services from her. My Vitamin C Peel had me feeling so rejuvenated!! Caroline, my girl Lol! She literally is a walking esthetician encyclopedia! Very knowledgeable about ALL things skin care! She's personable and thrives in making connections with others. I truly appreciate all of these women! Please know your impact goes far, much farther than the massage table

And Tatiana made my skin GLOW ! i appreciated that all products were scent free and did not irritate my sensitive skin. I only give 4 stars because I was asked to "relax" in the lobby before my massage , and all I could hear was the receptionists gossiping about each other (or other coworkers from other jobs) and it was very distracting. The service I received was immaculate aside from this, even from the receptionists themselves. I just suggest keeping the gossip to when the Libby is empty.

Day Spa Patrons - 3 ladies We came just for massages and wraps and were rather rushed through signing in process then whisked down to a relaxation room. While finishing up the paperwork our therapist came to get us. No time to relax. No tour of the facilities, nor shown the changing room which also contained robes which we discovered way later. It was a cooler April morning and my spa room I was put in was cold. My therapist hands were cold as well. I asked right away if she could adjust the a/c and she said no. She did go get me another blanket. The message was very good but my feet were cold the whole time. I put my swim suit on and headed to the hot tub thinking this will be great. Hot tub was not even heated yet for the day - put was on. When I asked about it they said to go to the front desk. The lady scurried to turn it on. Also the Bathrooms needed toilet paper. There were No towels by the pool. No cushions on pool lounge chairs as shown in pictures. You would think when you first open up in the morning you would have everything ready and put out. A quick tour or instructions would be nice too. For the prices we paid the attention to detail so lacked. I asked where the showers where and was told none and that only certain services included a shower. So if you want to go to a really cool place and pay 5 star prices and the little details don't care to you, then this is your place. I'm so disappointed since I wanted to take a friend there when she came to visit. My take away is that their bread and butter are the overnight guests who sign up for the detox program. It's too bad since they could have a good amount of clientele who are just looking for a nice spa.

These were included and helped to busy up the day Detox program 1/5 The detox program they do is just not for me - it included a morning proprietary detox drink with vegan protein, tea, oil blended together. It was terrible and very difficult to get down. Lunch was a liquid as well and similar except with more green stuff in it - also tasted terrible and dinner was thankfully a delicious soup. The soup was a major highlight. I will absolutely be making some on my own at home as fall approaches. The reason I rate this so low is that for the cost of this retreat there should be an option for participants to have additional whole, organic raw fruits and vegetables as small meals instead of or alongside these drinks. Complete deprecation does not work for me and it's disappointing there isn't another option available to participants. The only way I enjoyed my time was by supplementing my eating with fruit and veg I brought in from a local grocery store. I shouldn't have to supplement a reatreat experience to enjoy it. Logistics 1/5 There was just an overall lack of logistical organization during the 5 days. As someone who has worked to do logistics for events I know this either makes or breaks an experience and in this case it broke it in a lot of ways. Everyone had to get their daily schedules from the front after our class and most days, despite this being told to us as what to do at check in, the front seemed surprised we all showed up (unprepared). Schedules were hand-written and on scrap paper and for me, despite email correspondence about my schedule pre arrival, incorrect. As a result I missed one of my services (they did provide a refund) but this was a huge gap in expectations v reality. The program also advertised buying additional oils to use in your daily drinks (cbd) but this wasn't in stock so again, a huge missed opportunity. COVID related - apparently in Montgomery county where the retreat is located masks are not required. There weren't a lot of people and a lot of opportunities to maintain 6 feet distance except in spa services (no one wore a mask). This was a bit alarming overall. I would have felt better if I'd have seen some kind of screening being done for everyone at check-in (temp checks at least) to give some sense of covid caution, but there was none of this. There was hand sanitizer in one shared common space but again, it just seems like more could have been done to give people a bit more piece of mind (temp checks since masks were not being worn). Overall, I got what I wanted and needed from the experience but only because I supplemented it with what I needed. Therefore I give it a 2.5/5. It was a great space to recharge and reconnect but manage your expectations around it being a "spa resort". If you've been to 4 or 5 star facilities where the service is impeccable this will fall short.
