I originally found Visage and Thu Pham Arnold thanks to Yelp, and those reviews did not steer me wrong! Thu is a fantastic stylist, and an even better person, if that's possible. Two things I especially appreciate about Thu, beyond the fact that she does great hair (I haven't left disappointed in 3 years)... 1. She is very conscientious about timing, and 2. She honestly cares about her clients. I read that in reviews while searching for a hairdresser, but thought it was probably a bit of an overreach. But no, it's very real. One example that I will be forever grateful for was early on when I arrived late and in a dark place one day, thanks to some overwhelming family issues. Thu took one look at me and said, "It's going to be okay. Let me help," and she gave me an incredible shampoo/massage and let me just sit in silence through the whole darn appointment. It was all I could do that day, and she took it in stride... and gave me great hair . Thankfully, we have had many lighter and chattier visits since, but I'll never forget that day and her kindness. Visage salon provides great customer service beginning with their receptionist Sydney. She always attends to customers and takes great care in making sure the salon has a positive environment. She always ensures customers leave with a positive experience. My hairdresser Lee is professional and friendly. He works with you to ensure you come out feeling like a movie star. The salon also offers eye lashes and facials. Those services are awesome. My eye lashes are so professional done I have never experienced damage to my original lashes. read more

Been here countless times as my wife, son, extended family and friends are repeat customers. It's near our home which is convenient but there is always a wait...on average 20-45 mins, and we think it's time to walk away after coming here for years. Our entire family is in agreement and we will be sure to advise our friends to look elsewhere as well. After a 35 minute wait today we have finally exhausted our patience (if we were to add up all the waits we have had over the years!) . Though the business can text and call to confirm an appointment (multiple times btw) apparently they cannot text or call to give a heads up that the hairdresser is running very late. Staff are irritated not apologetic when notified they are late, and give you side looks like you are so difficult. They have no qualms telling a customer off and making it appear that the customer is at fault for not patiently waiting. It's only at the end of the appointment when the bill and tip are given that they pretend to be sorry and apologize. Apparently the customer is supposed to be grateful they are being seen and should wait their turn as only Visage has a busy schedule (customers have all day don't you know) and has to book appointments so closely together. Better not say anything though or you will get snapped at. Better not say anything as well if the cut also appears slightly off on occasion, as they are extremely talented, and the customer obviously does not know what they are talking about, it's the customers hair texture or the way the hair grows that's at fault. We have always been nice and gracious but today was the last straw. Even then we paid, tipped and left. Glad the business is doing so well they can afford to alienate prior loyal customers. A friend just told us that there are so many salons around these days, with many wonderful stylists and front desk staff who will be grateful for the business, and will provide great customer service, I'm sure we can find something. read more

I had an appointment with Gloria to have the red on the bottom half of my hair match the brunette color on top half. She was doing mine and another woman's hair at the same time. She was so rushed and dropping things left and right. She ended up dying my whole hair pitch black. She didn't even wash all the dye out of my hair and it stained my dress and the couch when I got home. I called the next day. The owner was "too busy" To take my call and called back 3+ hours late to tell me my hair was dark brown (how would he know? He hasn't seen it??) and I said I wanted it fixed and told me to come in the next day. I was seen by another woman who was also working on another woman's hair at the same time. This hairdresser put toner in my hair to strip out the color and ended up frying my hair into dried out straw. It didn't take the black out at all. The owner said it should fade in a few weeks. Doubt it will fade by my maternity photos and baby shower next week. On top of that my hair is so dried out and ruined. He never offered my money back for the horrible experience. My hair is breaking left and right. Please please please if you value your hair never go here!!!! read more

This salon is wonderful!! Very clean and professional. I went to THU, one of the master stylists, and she is so amazing! A very sweet, humble woman who does tremendous work. My hair came in a hot mess from a different salon I tried and Thu saved the day my hair is coming from red to blonde (which is a long process lol) but the last place pretty much botched it and now it is a lot more seamless and lighter, definitely what I was going for! She gives great recommendations, is very patient and instrumental about what you're going for/would be best, and is such a wonderful person in general. Thu is definitely my fave It was a superb experience! A previous time quite a while back, I went to GLORIA and she is also fantastic. She takes you through find the exact shade/color/style you are looking for, she is extremely knowledgeable and she was spot on with my color and cut! Zoom did exactly what I had hoped for! I had almost platinum highlights all over and I wanted an ombré look so that I could grow my hair out without looking like that's what I was doing. Went here today bc they had good reviews, everyone was really nice leading up to my appt HOWEVER my hair got botched big time!! Not only that but when she gave me the mirror to look at the end result and I went to run my fingers through my hair, the lady grabbed my hand and forced it down and told me not to do that...ummm I can check my hair and your work to make sure it's how I want it. I will NEVER go back here, I called and spoke to the owner the same day to let him know and he seemed like he gave 2 shits about the quality of work his stylists are doing, the satisfaction of customers and for customers to not be touched in such a manner.
