This was my 3rd time visiting my stylist at this location and it was the complete opposite of relaxing. The entire time I was there I could hear loud banging, stomping, and what sounded like a stampede, or people dribbling a ball. Despite having music and the tv on, the noise from up above overshadowed it. What was meant to be a relaxing hair appointment after a long day of work, quickly turned into an added stressor for myself and stylist. Building management should have carefully thought out the decision to place a dance studio on the top floor, directly above self care spaces. It's not fair to the stylists and their customers. The video I uploaded does not truly reflect the volume and intensity of the noise, experiencing it first hand was miserable.

For hair, I see Michelle Ramirez who ALWAYS does a wonderful color and cut. For nails I see Nu Mai when I need a mani/pedi For facials and makeup, I see Angela Hines. BUT, they don't push you to rebuy all your hair products to Aveda if you can't afford it, which is really nice. They do recommend what you should get to add to your current routine even if you can only get one product. My daughter went here for the first time a few weeks ago for just a hair cut and saw Yvette. My daughter has been dying her hair a lot and is trying to get her natural hair back and healthy. Yvette was able to cut off dead without having to chop all my daughter's hair off AND cut & thin it so that her natural curls can start to come back to life. It's still easier to manage now 3 weeks later. I saw Yvette today to get my hair dyed! Went in with blue only on the underside of my hair and blonde on the top. I asked her if I should do my hair all blue, and she thought yes, so we did! She did a couple extra conditioning treatments to make sure the color really catches, and did an amazing job! I mentioned I had a sensitive scalp, so she was very gentle and made sure she wasn't hurting it at any point during the process. She was very nice and asked if I had a budget to make sure the bleaching and dying wasn't going over my budget, which was great. Since I wanted to buy a product instead, I'll be back to have a haircut done in about a month and then another month later to have my hair color revamped. When I go back to have the color revamped, we'll probably keep the roots so that I won't have to spend as much as I did this first time. Little things like working within a budget is not something I've experienced with all hair stylist, so I am very thankful and love it! She's great at recommending little tips and tricks too so I can try to keep the color as vibrant as I can until I see her again.

I absolutely love this salon, the atmosphere and every single stylist, manager and receptionist there! They are all so friendly, warm and inviting!! My personal stylist is Kamryn, she is amazing, I can't get over the miracle she pulled off w/ my hair. I have dark black brown hair, I've tried for yrs to get it to blonde of course as most places would say you would need a few sessions to get it to what I wanted. Kamryn was so patient and attentive, she actually got my hair to exactly what I wanted the first time I went in. They were even closing and she was supposed to be getting off but stayed to make sure my hair got to the color I wanted and did my cut too! Now that is dedication and extremely highly rated customer service. Now yes it did take about 2.5 to 3.5 hrs, which was understandable in my opinion, and I knew it would take a while. She could have very well been like 'ok this is as far as I can take it today, so you'll have to come back' (which i was worried about but prepared for that happening, if it had to), but she didn't do that! No she took the extra time and care to do her best (which was phenomenal) to make sure I got what I was hoping for and left happy and I sure did! That was when I decided I wouldn't go anywhere else ever lol! Anywho, I noticed there weren't a whole lot of reviews from '26 so I wanted to put this out there since I really believe in this salon and the people that work there. I am extremely appreciative of this salon and of course my stylist, who I simply adore, and highly recommend, lovely to visit with and really seems to care about her clients, such a sweetheart. I am actually going to schedule an appointment with her in the next couple wks so I will update my review w/ new pics at that time. I should mention I am extremely picky about getting my hair done, simply becuz in the past 99% of the time my hair never turned out how I wanted, hoped or asked for. In fact there has only been ONE time in about a 30 yr span where I loved my hair cut, and was decently happy with my hair color. UNTIL I happened upon the woodlands hair elite, which they really are Elite. I haven't had the pleasure of meeting the owner, but she sounds like a wonderful lady. I truly appreciate her staff and the salon as a whole and everything they offer and what she's built. I personally feel, and probably becuz I have been extremely satisfied, that the price points are right on with most other salons, and I don't mind paying for great work. The products they sell are spot on with anywhere else you could get them, at least what I've noticed. They are very up front with the cancelation policies and if you do not cancel in the alloted time that you will be charged, which I think is fair, especially for what you may be asking for, like in my case it's never just something simple so they have to block off that time and potentially lose out on a job for that day if you cancel without the right amount of time, so to me that's fair and makes sense. They are clear with that when booking the appt. They also check with you multiple times for your appt giving you ample time to confirm or cancel properly. I'm sure that if it was an actual emergency and you could maybe prove that it was, I'm sure they would work with you if you are calm, kind and understanding that they are doing their job and they are losing out on potential income for that period if you don't show up or don't cancel in the time frame. But thats just me, I love them and the place to much so I personally wouldn't mind the fee if I didn't cancel properly, or show up. Anywho, bottom line is they are all awesome, the salon is beautiful, a ton of services (one day I'm going to get extensions done with the lady that does them, she is also so sweet and fun!), wide variety of free beverages and snacks, and sell great products. I love the receptionist, she is such a sweetheart too, she's always so nice to me and well like I keep saying everyone up there is awesome, you can just tell, it's a really good vibe! Ok, I think yal get they idea! ;) highly highly recommended!
