I've been going to Mo for 3+ years and can't say enough about his coloring abilities. My first visit with him (before Flair) I said I wanted lighter blonde and I'll trust you to do the rest. He gave me a beautiful blonde color with honey and taupe low lights. I've wanted that type of color job for ages and no one could master it until Mo. Since he and a partner have opened Flair I have enjoyed my visits. I'm always offered something to drink, the staff is friendly and makes you feel comfortable. I went and saw Becky for a haircut and a balayage for the first time. I do love the haircut she gave me, but even with me showing her pictures of balayage hair and confirming with her that those were what I wanted, she gave me full on highlights. I had even mentioned that I didn't like to mess with my roots a lot and at the end of the appointment she asked "do you like the highlights?" Also although she is nice enough, she isn't friendly in the sense you feel like she wants you there or is trying to get to know you. A simple blonde partial highlight for roots turned into a 6+ hour ordeal. First she took over 3 hours initially. During this fiasco, she turned my hair silvery/purple (I was going for normal blonde like the rest of my hair). I had to leave because she made me late for an interview (which I ended up missing despite me telling her about my timing near the beginning of my appointment). A foil like that usually takes 1.5 hours and certainly has never taken over 2. So I was shocked with the 3+ hours it took her. I ended up having to come back later that day to have it fixed. She turned it a little on the orange side (will hopefully be fixed with some purple shampoo). In the process of all of this, she also managed to get bleach on my shirt and ruined my shirt. I paid over $200 for botched hair and a bleached shirt. Worst experience with my hair in my life. And I've spent 25 or so years coloring my hair blonde. Steer clear! read more

First off, if you didn't know I'm a dude. But I'm getting my haircut at a salon? Weird. I've been going to same girl for awhile, she does a great job. Never any complaints on the quality of her work. The salon is nice looking. My only issue is, me being a dude, I get offered wine and water. I have to ask myself why is there no beer? My stylist, Lana, has styled my hair for 15 years - I can't imagine anyone else so tuned in to what her customer wants, and her confidence in what she does is backed up by years of experience, training, and from what I've experienced, innate talent and love for her job. Not only can she do anything you ask (within reason for your hair type, of course, and sometimes she can do styles I've thought not possible for my hair type), but she takes the time to tell you how to use the products and tools to get the same look yourself and advises you on how to keep it healthy. And to top it off, she is the most positive person I know - so when you leave the salon, not only does your hair look great, after chatting with Lana, you feel like she's your best friend AND like you are the queen of the world! I made an appointment with Rachel. Had to wait 45 minutes past my appointment time before I was seated. Understand things come up so tried to not let the very long wait get to me. Her topic of conversation was a bit unprofessional in my opinion. I could tell she was rushing to get my haircut done. Went to pay. She charged me $75. When I got to my car I looked at the time and realized she spent less than 20 minutes with me. Feel what she charged me was way too much for the service I received. I have had my hair highlighted at this salon and the person did a great job. Have also been their for cuts with different sylists and never a problem. This most recent time I arrived 10 minutes early for a cut....I waited 25 minutes and finally said "I am in kind of a hurry"...they shampooed me where I continued to wait. All in all I waited 45 minutes. Told the stylist I was in a hurry. She had me in and out of the chair in 13 minutes...then I get charged $75....was shocked for such a quick cut and waiting it was that high....maybe I don't know the prices. This is a beautiful and tastefully decorated salon with very friendly and helpful staff. I use three services at the salon: facials with Susan, color with Mohammed, and cut with Jessica. I've only been going to the salon for a couple of months, but already feel like a long-time client. Susan has her facial room upstairs and does an excellent job. My skin has never looked better and feels great. Mohammed is the man to go to for color which is his specialty. He does an excellent job and I would highly recommend him. Jessica is cutting my hair and has given me a whole new updated look. She is very patient, takes her time, and listens to you as to how you want your hair cut while giving constructive advice on improvements. She is relatively new to the salon, but comes with 16 years of experience at another salon. You will not be disappointed. I always line up the services back to back and call it my relaxation day.
