First a little background on me:…read more I am a first time mom and had not had my hair colored in more than a year or cut in more than six months. I was in desperate need of a really good cut and color before returning to work (after maternity leave) but also wanted to maximize my time with my daughter. Since moving to Chicago two years ago, I have been unable to find a stylist who I love, or even like for that matter. So I was feeling like my hair would be eternally bland... until I met Christina. A friend of mine works with a lot of stylists for her job (for photoshoots, etc.) and I was telling her about my dilemma. She recommended that I call Christina because she had worked with her before AND because she does house calls. I was sold. Now, the experience: I texted Christina on a Monday evening, we talked for a few moments on the phone, she explained her process, I discussed my needs, and the next morning she was at my house with all of her gear and a Starbucks iced latte for each of us. She was THE BEST. She's completely transparent about pricing. Her prices are exactly the same as what I pay in a salon (there is no added fee for coming to your home), but the entire process is so much more fun and relaxing. We decided to touch up my roots, paint in some lighter pieces (like tortoise shell/balayage/ombre) and then bond my hair with Oraplex. Because she used the Oraplex, we only had to trim a little bit off the ends of my hair, allowing me to keep all of my length. She styled my hair with a beautiful blowout, and it lasted a solid four days! She made great recommendations the whole time, she was really efficient in every aspect of her work, and the whole experience felt much more like a fun girls' day vs. the standard salon experience. For all of these reasons -- and because my daughter adored her -- I give my highest recommendation! I finally feel I've found my stylist, and I'm already excited for my next appointment! xo

I decided to totally change up my hair the day of the wedding and she was not only cheerfully accommodating, but she made it even better than I had imagined.
