Once it became clear that the footage was inconclusive, I ended the discussion because I accepted that neither side could prove who was correct. As my husband and I were leaving, the situation took a shocking turn. The owner repeatedly shouted "CHEATERS!" at us in front of other customers and ordered us to leave the store. He did this multiple times, despite the fact that the surveillance video had not established that we had done anything dishonest. There is a profound difference between a disputed transaction and publicly accusing customers of cheating. Honest mistakes can happen in any business. Public humiliation without evidence is something entirely different. This review is not about ten dollars. Had the matter ended with an unresolved disagreement, I would never have written this review. It is about dignity, professionalism, and basic respect. Every style I tried in the flight was good...they obviously put the effort into getting their stuff right. They live up to being called a "craft" brewery. The atmosphere is fantastic. Very nice pavilion to keep out of the weather. They also have some open air tables in a little garden and included a good size fire pit to boot. They have live music from time to time and it looks like they have food available occasionally as well. The bartenders were both super friendly and helpful. It's definitely a place we'll visit again when we're out that way. Highly recommend Whitehorse if you're willing to drive a bit and it's a must-do if you're reasonably close.
