Jeff became our agent after our local agent, that we'd been with for over 20 years, retired. We had a house fire 2 weeks ago and have been going through complete hell with the situation that's been extremely exacerbated by the way we've been treated and the way our claim is being handled. We've yet to hear from Jeff... Our previous agent was the type that he would've been at our house with us, watching the firefighters put the fire out, calling us everyday to keep us informed and to make the situation as smooth as possible. Do not deal with this clown or any of his staff, they will try to rip you off or scam you, believe me what they tried doing to me amounts to FRAUD, they told me I had higher coverage's on my policies than I really did, sent all sorts of phony paperwork, and after I complained to customer service, and got my agent transfer, about two weeks later they were still manipulating my policies, how do I know, well bottom of policy says they made changes on aug 31, I switched agents and agencies on the 12th of August, will be contacting the BBB (Better Business Bureau)! I have been a customer w/this office for almost 3 years. This office has multiple agents I've only met the one that opened my policy. I'm used to one on one with an agent this office doesn't have that or I had never been introduced to it because every time I've called with a question the person answering the phone has stated that they are a licensed insurance agent and that they can answer insurance questions. I only ever spoke with an agent when I threatened to leave this office and go to another State farm office she talked me out of it and I stayed. The billing for April was $45 more then usual when I called to ask why I was informed by the individual who answered the telephone that he would have to call the company & he advised he'd give me a call back as soon as possible. I spoke with him a day or two later he advised that the riders needed some information I never heard from anybody again I call back I speak with the individual that answers the phone not knowing she's new but regardless she advises me that one of my vehicles will be dropped off a policy in November and when I asked why she had no clue as to why she had to call the company. While on the phone w/her getting HEATED by the minute she advised that an employee pointed out that she had misinformed me that my vehicle was NOT being dropped. I got a callback from an agent letting me know that there was a glitch she be calling me back within a week or so they put the monthly payment on hold until everything is figured out. I received a call from the office today advising that the discount was reapplied back to the policy and that my monthly amount was no different than it had been. When I called the office to find out as to why this all happened nobody knew stated in the notes that the gentleman I originally spoke with that the riders was not getting back to the office I asked why wouldn't you have called the customer back & inform them??? I advise to pull the payment today on my Acct and advise that I would be seeking another office to work with I had even asked the owner of this office to call me about three weeks ago and still have not received one phone call so if you're looking for a one on one hometown insurance agent, don't bother w/this office ... read more
