This woman did not appear to be part of a service but was with the office but at home at the time. I called the next morning as told and explained again how my cat had had a growth removed from his paw but was now thinning out and we wanted to have him seen so that we could figure out if the cancer had spread (previous xrays said it hadnt) or if another issue was taking place, or frankly, to make the decision no one wants to make. I was put on hold and then a tone deaf woman picked up the phone offering us an appt on Monday. She then said they could only take him if he was "hit by a car". I said "my cat is dying", she clearly had no idea of what I even said to the last person I spoke with on the phone 5 minutes ago. What a joke. Its one thing to be told there arent appts, its another thing to have the rug pulled out from under you at such a crucial time for my loved one. She debated hard enough that I eventually said "I cant talk you right now" and hung up. Not the kind of vet Id ever want to go to. The only reason we called is our previous vet caused an issue for him too. Are there any good & consinstent vets on Staten Island?

After talking with other vets on the island they weren't sure if they were able to help our dog. We took our dog here to Dr Pugliese and she took our dog like it was her own and went to work.
