I went to many different groomers on Staten Island, and this place is by far the best! They are so patient with Toby, and they call before if they have any problems. My first time bringing my dog to this groomer and he looks amazing! I wanted to find a groomer that included nail trimming with the bath + cut since it cost extra at my current dog groomer. The price here is much more affordable, I saved $15 and my pup was groomed to perfection. Plus the staff is friendly and accommodated me the morning I called. Full groom for a 15lb Yorkie is is $50. This was my first time today bring my pitbull they are so nice so sweet and so kind to my dog ... he always gets a hard time from groomers because he's a pit and they took great care of him !!! They even brushed his teeth something no other place has been able to do. I can't wait to bring him back!!! I have taken my pup to other groomers and he always comes back a little timid and weird. Also, groomers constantly tell me they "have to shave him" anytime he has ANY sort of tangle. I never write reviews but what happened today to my pup upset me so much that I have to share it with others. I have been bringing my toy poodle there for a few months and every time I pick him up he has a cut. BUT THIS TIME WAS MORE THAN JUST A LITTLE CUT! I took him to get a haircut today. The groomer Alfred shaved him down so much that his paws were red and irritated and part of his black paw was scraped off. I didn't realize it until i got home and he calmed down. He was very figgity, wouldn't stop shaking and scared when I picked him up. Normally he doesn't like the groomers but this time he was really scared. His eyes were not cleaned and still had gunk in them and the receptionist told me that they didn't clean it because my dog was too nervous and that when i get home I can use a baby wipe. I pay for my dog to be bathed and groomed. I shouldn't have to come home to finish the job that the groomer was supposed to do. I am very disappointed and disgusted with the company and their staff. I used to have Jackie do his grooming and she was great! She is no longer there and the groomers they have now obviously don't know what they are doing or maybe they don't care. I will no longer be a customer of this business. I would advise anyone else to be cautious about leaving their pets under their care and supervision. read more

Terrible experience, I can't believe what they do to my doggie, she had her first hair cut, we were very excited and we gave to the "groomer" (Kelly)a picture, their advertisement said that they are going to try to leave the dog as similar as possible to the picture, this lady just cut all my dogs hair and gave me a bold dog, my dog is a yorkie, they have a very long hair, but not just because of her lazy and unprofessional job I have a completely bold dog, after this terrible experience, I will never recommend this place. read more

Just took my dog to get groomed here and he looks great! Jackie was quick and took a little over an hour to take care of him. That's certainly the fastest it's ever taken to groom him. The price was great at $50 for my Maltese/yorkie. Everyone in the store was so nice and you can tell they are all animal people and truly enjoy being around animals. pet supply store below and behind the Belfiore Meats on Forest Ave. it can be hard to find since you'd never think this was a store that's in business. We came to see the dogs and cats that are brought over from The rescue, Victory for the Voiceless. They about 5 cats and 1dog. Minnie the dog was so gentle and loving I wish I could of adopted her but she's to big for my home but wow what a gem she was. Everyone working there and the volunteers were all helpful. They even carried a huge bag of dog food out to a customer car. You can buy pup pads, wet or dry food, treats, leashes etc but are mostly know for grooming. When entering through the gate you are greeted by friendly staff. They know all of the animals by name and they are greeted with a scratch behind the ears. Everyone there is so friendly and knowledgeable. They are a family owned and runned business. You can tell that the whole shop revolves around the love of animals. Met the owner, Sam, and her dad, Joe and they are such good, sweet people which is so important to me as a cat-mom. Food and kitty litter prices are very reasonable and I love supporting local, small biz owners! I shopped at the same location when it was Pet Food City and have to say, Sam & crew have done an amazing job with the upgrade so cute, clean and refined! Plus, she is so warm, generous she makes you want to just hangout with her! Terrible groomer does not listen to the customer request. Did what she wanted .I told the owner do not cut her ponytail. We put bows and Barrett on especially for holiday coming ,We dress her. Just a shape up and nails trimmed since she was low already.When I picked her up her ponytail was cut off .The owner said she moved!! First of all she didn't need to go near the top anyway ! It's hard to believe since she has been groomed other places since a pup . I only recieved compliments how well she does especially when it comes to head / facial area.! Eye was not cleaned. Her fur was curly around the neck area.Ears cut angle and layer with long strand left on the corner.very choppie cut. My poor girls was crying she looked terrible.
