My entire experience at this academy was fantastic. The facilities were great. On my first day I even got a free appointment with Jeff himself. I shanked the first five balls since I was a total beginner, but Jeff was awesome. He directed me to work with Will as my coach and never pushed me toward the more expensive options. He simply gave me the sheet and let me choose. I signed up for a three month course with once a week training and Will was the best. I am now actually able to play golf... imagine that. Stop wasting money on expensive rounds when you can train consistently for three months and become a much better golfer. Great people and I highly recommend them. They gave me the confidence to play solo when I travel. Super pleased!!!! read more

Value is probably the worst part. They make you sign up for a 3 month minimum. In those 3 months you're required to pay for a practice plan that is on your own, gives zero value. Pretty terrible experience overall, I'd steer clear of this place and find an independent coach. read more

Service - 5 Value - 5 Professionalism - 5 On day one, I was greeted by Jeff Isler with a great smile and friendly handshake... We did our evaluation and he saw how horrible I was... He asked a lot of questions and also looked over a fitness eval I did with Casey (Casey works there). Due to my car accident that left me with limitations, Jeff was confident, he can get me not to hit homes on the course anymore. In fact, he said he can help me enjoy the game... he also guaranteed, I won't be on the pro circuit in the next few weeks.... Jeff and I discussed options and I decided to work with Mike LaBella... I hated to use my irons and I always had to use a tee... After a couple of lessons, Mike got me to start enjoying the game... Now, after Five lessons, I'm loving it and hitting an 8 iron 125 yards and straight... Homes are now safe... I also can hit my driver 215 yards.... straight... Thank you Mike... The facility is indoors and during the TX summer, the AC is greatly appreciated... The trainers use a Trackman, cameras and pressure pads to collect a lot of data... Jeff Isler Golf is top notch. I've had lessons at a few different places, and nothing compares to this. They use technology to their advantage. Plus their facility is awesome. After watching hours of online videos and hearing so many opinions I was more confused than ever about how to fix my swing. After an hour lesson with Casey he helped me get into the right positions, gave me drills to practice, and was super friendly. Such a horribly managed facility and business. Not told my instructor was leaving until a couple weeks after he had already left. Was never told I was being build for my kids plans and when I would reach out about billing issues I kept getting the run around. Only interested in the money and not the success of the students. I only allowed my child to keep attending lessons because the instructor was great and had a great relationship with our family. I recommend staying far away from this place if you want to keep your pocket book safe. read more

My 10-year-old daughter attends JAGA with coach Matt. I receive videos of her progress. He is very enthusiastic, high energy, patient, and the kids really respond to him. My daughter LOVES it! I took my first golf lesson today at this indoor facility which was an hour of great tips and information by my very positive instructor, Nick. I was impressed by his knowledge and the ability to give instructions in a positive and encouraging manner. And the information that I received by the computer technology used to quantify ball speed, distances along with Nick's suggestions to tweak my form gave me detailed information that allowed me to note cause-effect quickly. I just finished a 1 hour lesson with Miles. I have struggled with my swing for the entire 22 years I have been playing. After one hour, Miles had me hitting the ball far better than I could have imagined. This was a Groupon that I bought but it would have been worth the full normal price. I will be going back in the near future. I was so frustrated with my swing and assumed it was so bad that it would take a miracle to fix it. It is now up to me to keep practicing, but Miles gave me all the tools I needed after only 1 hour. read more

Disappointed and disgusted. Signed up my then 11 year old for private lessons and she loved the lessons and golf. Wanted to continue private lessons but was hard sold into jaga - some golf/sports development class. Dragged my daughter to the program for a couple of months and she hated every minute. The class had a bunch of younger kids running around and clearly age inappropriate for my daughter. Went back to private lessons and what a nightmare scheduling those have been! There are very limited times available (Saturday only) and once I scheduled them, these are the excuses I received for cancellations: 1. Food poisoning. 2. Sick. 3. No staff. We have managed to get in 3 of the 4 classes we paid for but we are done and walking away from the last $90 lesson. I emailed my concerns and there's been no response for over a month. The worst part is I have a daughter who hates golf now whereas she once had curiosity, interest, and natural ability. I was browsing Groupon the other day and noticed that surprisingly, JIG had excellent reviews. Unfortunately, I've handed over this place about $1K for nothing but an awful experience. read more

Lessons for my 5 year old. Completed first 4 lessons as committed. He didn't love the experience. Jeff Isler charge $199 for next 4 lessons. We agreed to complete those 4 and cancelled our contract. But when we went to setup the first of four lessons, we were told we would not receive service unless we committed another $199 on top of the nearly $400 already paid. This business is a joke. If they really cared about kids and golf they would inspire young golfers. They seem to inspire poor business practices instead. Other friends in the program have also dropped out. Putting dollars before service...this business should be short lived. Plenty of other choices in the area from either big corporate names or local small businesses. Look elsewhere. read more

Only great things to say! For a birthday gift for my husband, I purchased a 60 minute golf lesson at Jeff Isler Golf. My husband had an awesome experience. The lesson truly lasted the full hour and included personalized advice to improve my husband's technique in his golf swing. The golf coach, Casey was approachable, professional, and very knowledgeable. They use "TrackMan - Precision Swing and Ball Flight Analysis" and video support to analyze form and delivery.
