Bought a new Frigidaire refrigerator from Jeff Lynch Appliances. It was delivered by Al & "Money" with in 24 hrs. After several hours the the refrigerator wouldn't cool down, so I called the salesman back and he had a new one delivered within 2 hours. This one was delivered after hours by Jacob Edwards & Westly Mathis. During set up they noticed a small dent in the door and initiated a replacement process. The delivery crew (Patrick and Ethan) just delivered my wife's new Steel Flex recliner chair. They unboxed it carefully, moved another chair that she was using to another room and brought the new chair into the house. Everything went smooth with the exception of a bolt, screw or pin that was missing from the new chair that holds the rod to control the manual up/down mechanism for the recliner. Apparently, the chair left the factory this way since the missing part wasn't in the box when they unboxed it in front of us. The delivery crew took pictures of the area where the part was missing and contacted the store so they could get a repairman to come to our home and fix the problem asap. The entire transaction (with the exception of the delivery) was handled over the phone and it was an easy transaction. Frank Lopez handled the sale and did a first class job. We do our homework re prices before committing to purchasing anything and have found that this store offers good quality products at reasonable, competitive prices. At first, everything was great! Bought all new appliances. My new fridge had issues soon as we got it. After they sent a repairman twice they decided to replace it. So that all went well. Fast forward 2 years later, my brand new stove that has not been used that much has stopped working. It has no power to it at all. Just stopped working! It is a Frigidaire gallery series with the controls on the front. Not a cheap stove. We've tried the breaker, and the outlet so it's not a power issue it's definitely a stove issue and probably an expensive board replacement. After calling Jeff lynch their only solution was to schedule me a repair guy who would charge me $150 just to come diagnose. Just be careful when selecting a new appliance package from here. In today's economy no one can afford to buy new appliances every 2 years . Very disappointed that I spent a lot of money on these appliances and two out of 4 have broke and one still broken with no help from them. I'll never do business here again, appliance's should last at least 5 years or longer. My last set was 20 years old and still working. Update: After taking the cover off we discovered this stove could have actually burned our house down. The stove was installed by Jeff lynch and the installation looks to be correct by the diagram but there is a major flaw in this. This is why we were smelling burning plastic. Unfortunately my opinion of Jeff Lynch has changed. My mother recently purchased 3 Bosch appliances from here (large purchase) and had a horrible experience. Their representative made an error when installing her stove and she had to have a friend correct it. The man who performed the installation said that she would be refunded the installation fee since it was his error, but when a manager spoke with her, they said it would not be refunded (the worker said that, it wasn't me who said that etc). This is an $85 charge on a $10k+ transaction that they refused to refund even though the work was not done properly. $85 to lose customers that have spent tens of thousands of dollars at your establishment is very bad business. I would not recommend coming here anymore. I just noticed that my mother wrote a review below and a manager responding clearly did not read what she said. The issue was not resolved and we will no longer be customers. read more

Shopping for furniture at Jeff Lynch started as a great experience; good selection, helpful sales staff. I had found what I wanted in North Carolina and they were able to get the same items. My experience declined rapidly after they assured me that they would beat the price of my invoice from NC. I had called them prior to the deadline of that offer and told them I had to know that day if they could beat the price. He told me, and I quote "Rest assured, we are a family-owned business you just need to bring that invoice in and we will 'beat'" that price." That was Friday, I brought the invoice in on Tuesday a.m. Spoke with Ethan, who worked up a quote which was still higher due to Jeff Lynch charging more for shipping and their "in-house" warranty with less coverage. He attempted to get approval for a Lower rate from Jonathan Smith but was unable. I asked to speak with Jonathan and after looking at the invoice, noticed only about $28 was being deducted to get the price below the furniture item prices. After much frustration he managed to shave off a whopping $116. At this point we were still just under $200 over matching the invoice from North Carolina I had passed up. I pointed out my invoice had free shipping from NC and the warranty cost was less. I had now lost that deal because Jeff Lynch assured me they would beat the "invoice" price. Jonathan was very adamant that he would not reduce the price anymore because they only guaranteed the item prices not the invoice price. He would not take off their shipping cost of $107 which would bring the difference to just under $100, nor would he deduct from their inhouse warranty. When I asked him why, he said because we never have!! If it is their warranty, it is totally under their control. It was a horrible experience, I thought I was going to go in and buy locally, but Instead of him graciously apologizing for their miscommunication and deducting the $198 - then addressing the mishap, Jonathan strongly suggested when I left that I call my North Carolina source. He was sure they would still give me the deal. His demeanor is not what you expect when reading the Jeff Lynch Promise to Customer statement. When he came out to confront us I could tell from his attitude that his priority was not customer satisfaction. He had his gavel and repeated that's the way it is. Be cautious folks. Look at all of the cost associated with another merchant. Me and a friend who also received an NC quote will move on because, well that's the way it is. Obviously from Mark's canned reply, Jeff Lynch never delivers inaccurate information so the customer will always pay--per policy! read more

They sold us hard on a speed queen washer and dryer set, insisted we would never have a problem. We've had them since October and only really moved in in December and the dryer about blew up the other day. This is after having the repairman out before to look at the washer as it hasn't been properly washing clothes, and still isn't. Ive been doing my own laundry for about 10 years now and this is only now a problem. A wire overheated and snapped in half and burned the inside of the dryer. The hose on the back was also not property installed. The repairman has been nice but we are very disappointed with how Jeff Lynch has handled this as they said there's nothing they can do. These machines are supposed to have a 25 year life expectancy. read more

About 10 days after our power returned post Hurricane Helene our 16 year old refrigerator died. We had a house full of company coming in 2 days. What to do? Went to Jeff Lynch where we have purchased appliances in the past. We gave our measurement restrictions, told Joe Jordan about our need for a refrigerator very soon. He immediately knew exactly what refrigerator fit the space, and we were able to get it delivered THE NEXT MORNING. Amazing service. Knowledgeable staff. When the refrigerator was delivered, Justin and Charlie carefully installed it from start to finish. They even walked me through how to set the temps and to run a few bins of ice and pour out 3 gallons of water before using the filtered water or ice. I am not one to leave a negative review but I have not had a good experience with this company and it has only been two weeks since I have received my new refrigerator and washer dryer. The refrigerator was delivered it had a kickstand on the bottom that was crooked and needed replacing as was noted by the service guys I have called several times and nobody seems to recall a new kickstand being ordered for me in addition one salesman in particular his name is Eric has been extremely rude with me I told him my refrigerator was making a humming noise and he said we'll all refrigerators make noises my refrigerator makes strange noises too so anyway it goes on and on very rude customer service and I am now told that they cannot even find the order for the kickstand yeah definitely not happy with this company read more

Not sure where to start. I've been here multiple times and always thought their prices were too expensive. I figured it was because of the quality of their products. Either way, I just got a Stearns and Foster mattress for $3000 dollars and it is the most uncomfortable mattress I've ever slept on. I absolutely hate it. We always start our furniture buying at Jeff Lynch. They have a wide selection and are priced reasonably. This past month we looked for a sleeper sofa. The sofa we bought is exactly what we were looking for but our experience, because of the salesperson, was less than what we have come to expect. It began the first day we entered the store and walked to the furniture area. A salesperson was on the computer at a station in the furniture area and did not look up or acknowledge our presence. No one else approached so we had to ask the person for assistance. The salesperson showed us the sofas available and then left for us to look. The person was always professional, yet never seemed to be truly interested in selling anything. We had to go back and find the person multiple times to ask about fabrics, pricing, availability etc. When we made our selection the salesperson was direct and brisk, taking our info, processing the sale and informing us that it would be available in 3 weeks. I called several times to check on whether it was back and the salesperson informed me that they would contact me when it arrived, indicating that it was not acceptable to keep calling. I suppose we have been spoiled at JL in the 20 years we have been shopping there since prior salespeople have been personable, very friendly and forthcoming, and so helpful. We went in this store when we were searching for another recliner. We walked around for several minutes and tried on a few recliners. At no time did anyone ask if we needed any help. There were employees milling around the desk area and there was another couple who walked in while we were there and an employee immediately walked over to them and offered their assistance. This was out 8th store during our search. We finally gave up and stopped at two more places and at the last one, for $900, we found our perfect recliner!! This was the only store where we we completely ignored. Not sure if we 'looked poor' or if they just assumed that two old people driving a 21 year old car wouldn't have any money. Purchased a loveseat which was fine but I needed to order a full size couch to match. So I ordered the couch in sept 2020 but it didn't arrive till May 2021. Then to make things worse they delivered another loveseat!!!! I complain to Jeff lynch store So they l quickly happened to " find a matching Couch within a day" and they delivered it. Sounds fishy to me. The cushions on this couch don't stay flat and they hump up on the couch I called the store but they refused to exchange this couch. The quality is poor. The fabric is "pilling" customer service is not what I expected. I won't recommend this store for furniture. My couch cushions still don't lay flat even if I move them around. I usually don't write reviews. That said, my experience with Jeff Lynch was so disappointing that I believe I need to share. Unfortunately, Yelp doesn't provide Zero Star Reviews. A couple of years ago, we purchased a Kitchenaid dishwasher from Jeff Lynch. We were satisfied with delivery and installation and decided to go back to Jeff Lynch to buy a Bosch Washer and Dryer. The model we chose from the Bosch website was the top-of-the-line 800-series, each priced at $1,549.95. The top model is a condenser dryer, and the washer comes with Bosch's Aquastop feature, which stops the water flow in case of a leak, both features we liked. Since we had high confidence in Jeff Lynch, we ordered by phone and made a deposit. During delivery and installation, I noticed a dent in the Dryers' side panel. When I pointed it out, the delivery driver simply ignored me. Since they wore no masks during the delivery, I wanted them out of my house as quickly as possible, decided to let them go and contact the store instead. After they finished the installation, the driver showed me the OEM hoses which came with the washer. He told me that he had to install Jeff Lynch's Stainless Steel hoses and offered to leave the Bosch hoses. I pointed out that I purchased the washer because of the Aquastop feature and instructed him to change them. Later I found out that Jeff Lynch had charged me $22 for the 2 Stainless Steel hoses. Once the installation crew had left, we decided to try the new machines. To our surprise, the washer had a deep cut on the top panel, which continued right across the top of the control panel. The crew never pointed this out to me. Jeff Lynch informed me that, based on Covid-19, they would not exchange the machines but repair them. This "Covid19 Policy" wasn't published on their website, and a written policy didn't exist. After I spent over $3,000 on these machines I expressed my disappointment about the repair offer. I suggested reducing the price or provide an extended warranty, a $200 value per machine. The salesperson rejected both proposals. Our old washer and dryer were already disposed of by Jeff Lynch, so we got stuck with no recourse, except an elaborate repair, which concerned us. We decided to use the machines. While the dryer ran, we wondered how often we would have to empty the condenser tank. To our surprise, we found out that there is a hose that disposes of the condensed water and found out that the installation crew had stuck the hose into the dryer vent. I contacted Jeff Lynch again. Jeff Lynch confirmed that this was the correct way of installing a condenser dryer. The Bosch manual clearly shows that it is supposed to drain into an external drain. After this embarrassing episode, I received a voice mail from a manager offering $150 Manufacturers Credit per machine. When I called back to discuss the offer, another manager answered the phone, told me he would help me, but never contacted me again. It has been almost two weeks now, and I think that based on other reviewers' feedback, I will never hear from Jeff Lynch again. Unfortunately, I never looked at the feedback on Yelp, and the myriad of 1-Star-Reviews, before I spent my money with Jeff Lynch. I'll go ahead and inform Bosch North America about the performance of their Greenville distributor. Nobody ever treated me like this. I think I learned my lesson and will never put a foot in that store ever again. read more

The appliance department was amazing, we ordered a washer/dryer and delivery was smooth. We decided to purchase almost 10k in furniture, in the beginning customer service was great until the day of delivery. The pillows that came with couch were the wrong fabric, the additional pillows we ordered were poorly made, and the console table was scratched and uneven. We denied the pillows and table, and had to be the ones to contact the furniture department. I asked about quality control before delivery and they said they don't do that because they don't want to get items dirty. Still waiting to find out when I will get my pillows. Both salesperson and manager acted like this was not a big deal. Still waiting for update on pillows. read more
