No means no, so why continue pressuring someone after they have respectfully declined? I've been to other Crunch locations, and the experience has been completely different.
I also lost a water bottle and a belt at this location. The same day I lost them, I called the gym to ask if they had been found, and I was told no. I then turned around and drove 10 minutes back to the gym, only to find out that they had mysteriously found my belongings. When I asked when they found them, I was told that they had "been there." So naturally, my question is: did they just lie to me when I called?
The reason I'm writing this review today is because the final straw was drawn. Other gyms have allowed me to bring a guest who forgot their ID, especially when the guest is a regular. I understand that policies exist, and I understand if this is something that cannot be overlooked every time. However, this happened once with my girlfriend, and instead of showing any understanding, the staff disrespectfully turned us away and then smiled in our faces while telling us that she could simply purchase an individual membership.
The staff currently working at this location has shown a serious lack of respect and professionalism on multiple occasions. I'm not sure if other members have experienced the same treatment, but after having multiple negative experiences here, I feel the need to speak up.
I would strongly recommend that management look into the customer service and training at this location. Members should not feel pressured to make purchases after saying no, questioned about situations that could have been handled respectfully, or treated poorly when simply trying to use the benefits included with their membership.
Based on my experiences, I would avoid this location and seriously reconsider the staff training and customer service standards. The repeated experiences have left me feeling like I was dealing with people who were dishonest, disrespectful, and more interested in making a sale than treating members with basic respect.
As of Aug 25, 2026:
This is an update following the response I received from the owner.
I understand the policy regarding guests needing a valid state ID, and I can respect that policy. My concern, however, is how the situation was handled. I have visited both the Kissimmee and East Colonial Crunch locations and experienced the same situation where my guest forgot their ID. On those occasions, the staff showed some understanding and allowed me to enter with my guest as a one-time exception. More importantly, the situation was handled respectfully.
I understand that policies are policies, but customer service and how those policies are enforced matter just as much. A gym is only as good as the people representing it, and my experience at this location has unfortunately been different from what I've experienced at other Crunch locations.
I'll stop by and I'm always willing to have a conversation and explain my experience further. However, my review will remain as it is until I see a change or have a different experience at this location.
To everyone who has read my review, whether you've had a good or bad experience, I encourage you to speak up. Positive experiences should be shared to support businesses doing things right, and negative experiences should be shared so businesses have an opportunity to improve and be held accountable.
I appreciate the owner taking the time to respond, and hopefully, my future experiences at this location will be different.
