My wife brought me to GUNTRY for my birthday, and it was an awesome experience from start to finish. We kicked things off with a simulation session, which was so cool. I am already planning to do it again. The shock pack that zaps you when you get hit is wild. It is a little crazy, but honestly really fun to try. We spent an hour at the range afterward. It is definitely loud and a bit tight, but it gets the job done. The staff was friendly, patient, and very helpful the whole time. The retail shop is huge too, with tons of firearms and accessories to browse. We ended the night at their cigar and whisky event, and that was a great time. The whisky was strong and plentiful, and dinner was delicious. It was all catered in house by the cafe. Pricing is pretty reasonable overall. Their lesson rates seem lower than a lot of other places I have seen, although I have not had a chance to take one yet. My only complaint is that I wish it were closer. I live in DC, so it is definitely a trek, but it was worth the drive.

The item I Had worked on was a 1911 that had trouble feeding hollow points since I Purchased it. Ball ammo was never an issue. Took it in, the clerk looked at it, said it will probably be a couple months as they were back-logged. I just got it back, and while I haven't fired it yet (just got it yesterday evening), the ramp and throat work is beautiful! The metal is mirror bright, and slick. I've no doubt this 1911 will operate flawlessly now. And then the cost! $100 for a quality of work that is this impressive! I could not give higher marks to them. Affordable 5 star work, and excellent staff. Need work, go see Scott.

I needed a rail installed on top of a 1911 slide and was told that "We don't drill and tap holes." Nothing about the job was unique. I've had it done to the exact same type of firearm multiple times in the past. I did not stick around to find out why not, why he lists his business as a gunsmith, or more interestingly, as a gunsmith, exactly what does he do. Sorry I can't be more help.
