We bought VIP tickets for front row seating and I highly recommend that. It was more mind-blowing to see his magic up close than to be sitting in the back and kinda being able to see some aspects of the show. Parking in downtown can be an absolute nightmare, especially if there's other events going on. If you're willing to walk ~15 minutes, there's free street parking off of Mills St NW. In my experience, parking here allowed me to largely avoid downtown traffic nightmare, as well as $$$ parking.
