Thank you for reading. I would've given this place a 10 star rating if it was possible. I visited the Wise Center on October 17th, 2019, for a Consultation. I suffer from rosacea, which has caused certain portions of my face to look weathered (Only word that comes to mind). I must say that I was taken back by the professionalism of the entire staff. The staff was very welcoming and in all honesty made me feel super comfortable being that I am not a huge fan of any medical center (sorry male here). Staff member(s) took photos of my face. I was than escorted to a separate room where my options were explained to me in detail. All my concerns were addressed. Although there is no cure for rosacea, the staff offered Different variations of treatment to help reduce the redness and inflammation on my face which was very noticeable. After choosing a treatment I was shocked to learn that treatment that we chose was surprisingly affordable. After a few minutes I was led to a different room to began my treatment. I was again put at ease by the professionalism of the staff as they again explained step by step what to except as the procedure began. The staff held a full conversation with me during my procedure which made my time there seem to go a lot faster. During the Procedure my face responded extremely well to the treatment that was chosen. Majority of the redness and small bumps around my nose area were cut by more than 1/2. I have been coming to Dr Wise office for over 10 years. His service is excellen. He saved my life by his care and treatments. I now get a biologic xolair once a month. Kim is the best injector!! I never have any soreness or redness. I can hardly feel the injection. The office is quiet and clean. I always want to know about the bathroom, clean, good smelling soap and plenty of paper product. First time getting Botox, and my experience with Dr. Wise and staff was amazing ! I was greeted immediately, taken back quickly, and everything was explained well. The office is very beautiful , and extremely clean , but what really stood out to me was how genuinely nice everyone was , including Dr. Wise . I was a little nervous because I've never had anything done to my face , but by the time the Doctor was ready to administer the Botox , I had no doubt that I was in the right place . 5 minutes ago I am very dissatisfied. There was a promise from Dr Wise to get a good results, but he did not achieve the promised result. I did a lower facelift, at first looked good, but when the swelling went down, I began to see sagging more than the other, and start looking the same as before. I lost my money, and now I have to pay another doctor, they think only about money and not about satisfying the patient. For facelift I do not recommend it. read more

I have been getting PRP with Dr. Wise for the last year+ and have seen fantastic results. I love Dr. Wise, he is so easy to talk to and explains everything. My wife learned about a procedure at one of The Wise Center open house events. A few months later, I agreed to go with her for a consultation. The office is immaculate and clearly State-of-the art. The appointment was very professional and thorough- by the time we left, we both knew exactly what she could expect- both good and bad. A few weeks later, my wife went back and had the procedure. Everything went as expected and Dr. Wise supervised. She felt very comfortable and at ease. Over the next few days, the office called to make sure my wife was doing well- a nice touch. Now, weeks later, my wife is seeing the results she hoped for and is thrilled. Neither of us would hesitate to visit The Wise Center again, and will definitely recommend them to friends. read more

So this was not your typical facial. I bought this on Groupon a few months ago and was very excited to give this place a try. I wasn't disappointed. Now I've had a few facials that were fabulous that were performed in a spa by an esthetician. This was different. This facial was performed by an esthetician in an office that mainly performs plastic surgery. This facial wasn't relaxing. It felt more like an office visit with a dermatologist, but that's ok. The esthetician explained each step and how it would benefit my skin. She was also friendly and informative and I enjoyed the hour I was there and felt as though I was doing something very good for my skin. The only thing I didn't like was the hard sell of the products at the end of the service at the desk in front of patients in their waiting area. I think a better way of doing this would be on paper. A suggestion of products with prices etc. and let the customer make their way to the checkout desk and request to buy what they've been offered. read more

I have been going to Allison for the past year. I have received various services such as facials ultherapy and cool sculpting. Allison is excellent . she is thorough, professional and never rushes through consultations. Everything she has either recommended or performed I have been extremely happy with. My husband did hair restoration with dr Wise and is also very happy with the results. I would highly recommend them. read more

Terrible. Basically, it's surgery without anesthesia. Patient feels the whole thing while sedated but not numb. Imagine your worse nightmare: you are unable to speak but can feel the cutting, probing and injecting all without being able to say anything or move. Tip: Don't do it. There's not such thing as a magical lift without anesthesia. You need anesthesia. Update due to Requests: No, the result was not good, not immediately and not over time. And I don't understand why folks want to know which office it was.. does it really matter?? Everyone should avoid this practice and its physicians like the plague. read more

Agree with other review. This place went down hill with the quality as they gained popularity. I have been using this place for many years . When I first started with them they were smaller yet the service was excellent. With the time , the space became much bigger and nicer looking but the service went down tremendously. The doc is really nice but delivers inconsistent results...some times I get what I asked, other times I get bruises and I hardly see the results. And yes, they more expensive than other places. Wish the doctor would pay more attention to the patient service and take responsibility for when he makes it bad. The only service I have no complains about is Jennifer, esthetician - she is great. While I can't speak to the quality of their work, I can say that the process of attempting to schedule a consultation made me feel that this practice values money over its patients or potential patients. I'd originally scheduled a free consult + PRP, but then asked to do the consult only first and determine whether PRP was appropriate for me. I was instead offered a different (more expensive) procedure to couple with my consult. When I declined, stating that I wanted to speak with the doctor first, my consultation was canceled and I was told that Dr. Wise DOES NOT HAVE TIME FOR FREE CONSULTATIONS AS ADVERTISED, and I should book PRP which is what most people end up needing. As a concession, I was told that I could forward photos to a coordinator who would speak to the doctor on my behalf. I wasn't comfortable with this. Eventually, the patient coordinator agreed to reinstate my consultation, which after I confirmed, the practice again canceled. Mind you, this was after I'd spent time completing all of the patient intake forms. I followed up with the patient coordinator (Kara) multiple times, asking when I could be seen. It's now been five days with no response, which leads me to believe that the other reviews calling this practice unprofessional are the rule, not the exception. read more

Dr. Wise is by far one of the best of the best without question. I had a Rhinoplasty/Septoplasty with Dr. Wise July of 2020 and could not be happier with my results. My nose had an intense deviated septum and a significant bump about halfway down the bridge. Upon smiling, the tip of my nose would dip down, giving it a curved appearance. I had my first consultation with Dr. Wise via Zoom (due to Covid restrictions) almost a year ago and both him and Diane were an absolute pleasure. Without me stating my concerns, he gave his opinion which was exactly in line with how I felt - one of which being that he wants all of his patients to leave with a natural looking nose, not a "nose job nose" - which was SUPER important to me. I had both of my parents on the Zoom with me and he spent nearly an hour answering all of our questions. He was the only doctor that I met with (which generally is not advised as you should explore many options), but after meeting him in person a month later, I knew he was the right doctor for me. INCREDIBLE bedside manner and again, patiently answered the numerous questions my mom came armed with at that appointment. I had been waiting years to do this and had watched countless YouTube videos on the process to understand the recovery process, but Dr. Wise and Diane both made me feel comfortable and knowledgable on anything and everything around the surgery. As mentioned before, I have watched one too many "Rhinoplasty recovery" videos on YouTube and my experience was even better than expected. The first day is rough (of course since you just had surgery on your face) but after day two, there was such a notable difference and not at all like the bed ridden videos I had watched on YouTube. The night before my surgery, Dr. Wise himself called me to chat quickly about the surgery and reassure any concerns/questions I had. I was so pleasantly surprised to speak with him directly, that meant a lot to me. After the surgery, I barely bruised. I assume 1. because of his incredible technique and 2. the strict vitamin/arnica regimen before and after surgery. Dawn was my main point of contact after surgery and she called to check in on me each day - Dawn is SO sweet, I went in for my 9 month post-op this week and ran into her in the hallway. She remembered me immediately and asked how I was, etc. Such kind employees. I cannot express how thrilled I am to have the nose of my dreams - it is exactly how he edited it virtually in my consultation and can't stop staring at it (now in a positive way!). My before and after truly is so groundbreaking. Aside from the appearance of my nose, I now can breathe fully out of both nostrils, even when I've been sneezing all day from allergies. Very personable and friendly doctor and clean facility, however I had lip injections done by Dr. Wise 8 months ago and my results are terrible. Paying $850 for injections that ruined my face was a lot of money to have to pay even more money to get them dissolved. It was the most I've paid for lip injections but I had intentions on finding a doctor I could use repeatedly. I waited 8 months to see if they would settle or dissolve some on their own but they haven't. Dr Wise has a heavy hand and injected too much solution into my upper lip and went too far into my face. The last 8 months have been horrible for me because everyone stares or comments on my unnatural looking lips. I'm getting them dissolved today from a different doctor. read more

Terribile experience! I waited for more than one hour, the treatment Was painful and it wasn't the first time for me having juviderm. I had big bruises for 10 days. The result is not good, my wrinkles around my mouth are still there but now I have a little ball at the end of my lips!! Moreover, he is really pricey!!! Don't go there! read more

Dr wise is the real deal. He never overdoes anything. He doesn't make you look plastic...just better. His staff is professional, knowledgeable and supportive. Dr. Wise does not explain anything he does. You would better not have any question after your procedure because he won't answer it. He is very difficult to talk to. I feel like I have to see other doctors to ask my questions from regarding the procedure he has done on me. Really frustrating. read more

Dr. Wise and his staff are truly amazing. They listen to what your needs are and help you decide whats best for you. I had my sun spots removed and laser hair removal and had a great experience. Over a year ago I went to see Dr. Wise in his Wayne, New Jersey office and liked him very much. His bedside manner was absolutely fantastic. This doctor stated to me he is the surgeon who performs the surgery and administers his own anesthesia while your under twilight sedation. (Saw another patients review on Dr. Wise on how she felt excruciating pain on the day of her surgery with the twilight sedation and could not move and felt helpless). At this point, I knew I made the right decision not to use Dr. Wise. read more

I'm not one to write reviews but I had such an awful experience that I wanted to share. I contacted Dr Wise for information regarding Botox lip flip and also tear trough filler. I had a friend who went to him and had a positive experience with fillers. When the woman from his office called me, she was super interested in telling me about the tear trough filler. I asked about any complications and she said, "there are none with him because he's so good." This struck me as very odd as this procedure of injecting around your ocular cavity can be quite risky and coming from a DR office I would think they would be required to tell you any possibly complications. Nonetheless, I opted to hold off on the filler and only go for a lip flip. It's only a $150 procedure so figured I could go to check out the practice. I then asked if I could have time to speak with him directly about Botox in other areas and the tear trough filler when I'm there for his opinion. They said yes. So I took off the day from work, drove an hour to get to the practice which seemed very cold and unfriendly immediately upon entering. I went into the exam room and the lady from the phone came in to give me the "consultation" on the Botox I requested. I thought this was odd because I wanted to see the Dr, not an office manager, for his medical advice on this. She opened with "immediately I notice your crows feet...."I said I wanted to speak with the Dr and not her about his advice and she stated, "he will just tell you exactly what I did." She reviewed no areas with me on my face. She gave me no price per area or syringe but one price for everything. I said I didn't want to go to overboard and she said, "oh you can't with him because he's so reserved." Meanwhile she couldn't even talk correctly or move her face because she had so much filler. After that I almost walked out but decided the see the Dr anyway. He came in and basically made fun of the fact I was doing a lip flip because my mouth was so small and that it wouldn't do anything. He said lip Filler was the way to go. I said no I only wanted this done to get first and he did the procedure and I left. I couldn't believe how unprofessional this Dr and practice were. I was fully prepared to spend 10x more money and go to them for a variety of things in the future. I was only using this small procedure as a test and they treated me so second class because I wasn't spending a lot. Very poor form and ridiculous to be so money hungry when going to a physician but I guess that is what I get for going to Wayne NJ. Do not recommend. read more

I have tried many different aestheticians over the years and I must say Jennifer is the best of the best. I trust her completely. I've been seeing Jenn for about 3 years now. She has done numerous facials, peels, microdermabrasion procedures, and microneedling on my face and aside from the usual and customary redness or minor irritation caused by the procedure itself, I've always been very pleased with the results. Jenn is very caring, very careful, and very knowledgeable. Quite the perfectionist, too! I don't think I could or would ever trust another aesthetician like I've come to trust Jenn. read more

The staff at the office was very welcoming and accommodating. However, I was not satisfied with my facial. It was relaxing, but the esthetician barely asked me anything about my skin. My skin felt like it was burning at times and the manual extraction was painful, she gave me no notice that some portions of this process would be uncomfortable. At the end, she was trying to upsell the skincare products at the office as opposed to answering a general skin care question I asked. I felt that was very unprofessional. I would understand if she recommended a product after answering my question, but her entire response was "here buy this". Several days later and I don't notice any difference in my skin texture, redness, blemishes, or fine lines. Thankfully I used a Groupon for the facial, the original cost is $250! For that price I would expect a more client centered experience. read more

I did a lot of research after reaching a certain age and felt like I looked excessively tired---or like a really, really mean librarian. I take excellent care of my health, but all the healthy eating and exercise in the world would not address my turkey neck. That saggy, craggy neck drove me crazy. I don't know why. I don't care why. I just knew it had to go. When I consulted with Dr. Wise, I was impressed by his outstanding education, credentials and knowledge of current techniques in facial plastic surgery. He got as fired up talking about his passion for his work as I feel about good donuts, my saintly husband and ugly dogs (I love ugly dogs!) I am a little nutty about my demands in any doctor (there are PLENTY of doctors so it's like finding a husband--you don't stop until you find THE ONE). In addition to everything, I felt comfortable talking with Dr. Wise and everyone who works for him. He is genuinely a sweet man who didn't suggest procedures or try to sell me things. He is a good listener and communicator. I had that darn turkey neck removed and a few other nips and tucks (amazingly without any general anesthesia) and I am thrilled with my results. I slept through everything-it's sometimes called Twilight anesthesia, no, Twilight Anesthesia is not when you watch the film trilogy and keep falling asleep....) I saw someone's review talking about feeling pain, but he worked on me for HOURS and I awoke feeling fine, remembering almost nothing and never experienced any pain at all--amazing to me as I once had general anesthesia and upon waking, up-chucked for days afterward. As another reviewer mentioned, he's not cheap, but I would personally run for the hills if a plastic surgeon was inexpensive. The best surgeons are in demand and don't need to lure customers with unrealistic promises or bargain prices. I love a bargain, but I don't want a cheap surgeon or a husband! read more

On RealSelf.com you can get a glowing, accurate picture of this skilled, compassionate surgeon and equally compassionate, friendly, helpful staff from 92 very specific 5-out-of-5 star reviews which echo my own positive experience. I've had only "vampire" facials (PRP treatment and injections) at his office; but Dr. Wise and his whole staff's friendliness, openness, knowledge and expertise, and clear concern for their clients have me trusting them with any of my facial surgery needs. I am truly impressed with their open communication, expertise and compassion. This is one of the best run services that I've experienced of any kind. read more

Less than a year passed, but my face is where it was before the surgery exactly. 10 grand wasted. Also, the 7 or so pills they give you before surgery do not last enough time and, as one of the reviewers pointed out, you feel it all, an it is your worst nightmare to feel the pain while they scrape and inject. I went to this practice for coolsculpting of the thighs and abdomen after reading reviews and viewing the before and after pictures. I was there from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and did not see Dr. Wise at all; I don't think he was there. I made multiple trips during the day from the treatment room to the restroom and did not see him once. I would've liked to meet him and discuss a medical condition I have, but it was not to be. Jennifer, who treated me, was likable and helpful. But while she promised multiple times to call me the following day to see how I was feeling, I did not hear from her or anyone else from the practice. I am now 3 days post procedures. I am still numb, which I was told would last a few days, and there is some bruising which has not yet subsided. I'm not sure I'll return to this practice. I do not think it is professional for the medical person in charge not to see a patient on the first visit. read more
