Debbie is amazing. She knows everything about United Health Care. This morning I tried to make an appointment with a hand specialist I have gone to for several years. The receptionist told me that I had to get a referral from my doctor. That the referral must go thru "leading reach" & that United was now part of "Well med". I questioned what it was & when did it start. She said my doctor would know. My doctor had no idea what she was talking about. That's when I called Debbie. She too, had no idea but stated as a PPO United Health care does not require referral. After several phone calls back & forth the doctor's office contacted their billing department. Debbie spoke to not only the doctor's office but also her manager to make sure they educated the doctor's personnel correctly. Debbie has helped me a few times over the years.
