They told me my behavior (crying and begging for help after being ignored for physical pain) was "unacceptable" and would lead me to be admitted for a month. They threatened to sedate me if I didn't stop crying. They also told me that I had to wait for my parents to return (they had never left the emergency room) to discharge me. Do not- under any circumstances - put a loved one under their care. The NPs were horrific and there are more reasons they remove phones from the rooms than for patients "safety".
