I showed them MRI's that show disc bulging, arthritis, thickening of the spine. Dr B said I don't know why you were referred here & I don't need to see you unless you have a "new" issue & You shouldn't be taking opioids either. I left out of the office crying. All I wanted was to find out what's wrong with me so I can live as close to a normal life as possible. I'm afraid I'm dying from something unknown. I've had cancer b4 & barely beat it. I'm in pain every day & require a caretaker. This dr treated me with such disrespect I will never return. He diagnosed me by looking at me. No testing or even touching the nodule on my spine. What could be improved maybe Dr B listen to the pts symptoms & don't assume anything by how I look. Don't be rude if you don't know why I'm here call the referring dr & ask him/her. Take pts seriously & at the least run some blood work, X-rays, ultrasounds or something. Lastly don't tell a pt that you think you're done & been in my room long enough. When you wasn't in the room to talk/evaluate me, you sent your minions in since you thought I was only worthy of a 3-5 minute lecture. I would give DR B a zero if I could. You've been warned he can't do anything for you.

After my procedure, my follow up appointment was promptly scheduled while I was in recovery, which was super helpful! My only concern is that I'd used them about 5 years ago and when I checked in for my recent appointment, I was notified that I had a $400+ credit on my account, which should have been refunded to me long ago! I would definitely recommend this practice and will be returning for my future needs!

I had just seen my primary care doctor, who recommended an epidural injection because of the severity of my pain. When I called the clinic seeking assistance, I was simply told to go to urgent care. At the time, I was in significant pain and could barely walk. Being told to go to urgent care after being a longtime patient left me feeling dismissed and as though my concerns were not taken seriously. I ultimately went to an orthopedic urgent care and had a completely different experience. I found a PA who listened carefully, showed genuine concern about my pain and limitations, and was willing to treat me rather than simply send me somewhere else. That level of attention and compassion made a significant difference. I will be taking my future care elsewhere and will return to the orthopedic practice I found if I need epidural injections or additional treatment.

I recently received anesthesia services by Dr Terry Anderson with Saint Luke's Anesthesia Services…read more I had a lengthy pre-op discussion with him about my concerns over injuring my throat from being anesthetized for an arthroscopic procedure. He assured me that there would be no issues, yet when I woke up from the surgery, I did not know what hurt worse.....my knee or my throat. I mentioned this several times to the recovery room nurse at St Luke's South Surgery Center, yet she failed to look at my throat. Considering I was not fully functioning after receiving anesthesia, I did not think to push the issue with her and insist that she look at my throat. After being home for several hours, my spouse offered me an apple. I could barely swallow, the pain was so intense. I went to a mirror to look at my throat only to discover that Dr Anderson or his CRNA had created a 1 inch gash in the soft portion of the back of my throat. It looked as if someone took a scalpel and made a straight line incision in the back of my throat. I also noticed a small pool of blood where my left tonsil used to be. He specifically knew my concerns yet either 1) failed to check his work and did not notice the injury, or 2) realized what he did and failed to notify the recovery room nurse so that some medication could have been given specifically for a cut throat. The day after surgery the recovery room nurse called to see how I was progressing. I told her that the throat hurt as much as my knee. She had another anesthesiologist (Dr Michael Davenport?) contact me. He said that he sees this type of injury several times every few months. If this type of injury is known to occur, why would Dr Anderson not check my throat before sending me back to recovery? Needless to say, he will never be permitted to ever perform anesthesia services on me or any member of my family.
