My Dr retired from the practice & I was passed down to Foster. I did not like Foster as he dismissed the symptoms I c/o and he talked over me. My caretaker was with me to report changes she's seen over the last year. He did not listen to her either. I don't believe it's ok for a woman to be laying in the pt bed w/a male Dr over her taking away the med plan she's followed for several years at the same office. A month after my last payment, my credit card was charged. I call and ask for a refund and it takes 2+ weeks and it'll come in the mail.

When I called about it, the woman was not willing to work out a payment plan with me. So I continued the $50 payments every two weeks. She has now sent us to collections. When you look at the bill, there are duplicate dates of service with different charges. We do not know if this is for multiple physicians or not. The woman was rude and belligerent and threatened me with the collection action. I have documentation to back up everything I have said. My next call will be to the Better Business Bureau. If I could give them a rating below one star, I would do so.

Apparently they find this difficult. They tend to send bills to the wrong insurance providers then badger the patient when they don't get paid. This has now happened to me 3 times in 17 years. It provides a great sense of community and support, as well as therapy (OT, PT, cognitive, group exercise, etc.). Our Monday volunteer Craig is just the best! The group is designed to promote socialization and the ability to learn from your peers. Students and staff here at MSAC are very supportive, caring, compassionate, helpful, and understanding. The check-in staff were polite, courteous and efficient upon my arrival and the nurse who escorted me to my examination room was also courteous and pleasant. The doctor was much better than my previous neurologist; she listened to me , and paid attention to what I said. She gave me a workup like I've -never- had before and made observations about me even I didn't realize. A wonderful facility, staff, physician and I hope my relationship continues.

He went in depth to explain what it will take to do the procedure I need to have. He answered all my questions and was very straight forward about all the details. He spent about 20 minutes with me and did a good examination to make sure of what he was seeing on the CT scans was accurate. He was even kind enough to give me a referral to another Neurosurgeon who has a lot more experience with what I need done. His bedside manor was excellent with me. That's what I call a good DR. !! I would recommend Dr. Ohio to anyone who has a serious back problem.
