He would warn us that even if we lose out on a house, in the end it always works out (and SPOILER ALERT he's right). He will be honest with you about any negatives he sees and he will steer you away from any bad decisions. Sometimes we were so keen to just get a house that we were willing to settle or make hasty decisions. But Billy makes sure that whatever house you get is a great house and whatever you do is sound and smart. And I'm so glad that he was there with us helping make all our decisions. He would give us daily updates of his endeavors going door to door and networking with other agents. In the end it was a note of his he left on the door of a house that was off the market that did the trick. We were able to buy a house that was miles better than any of the other houses we put offers on with basically no other competition. I went through a terrible experience with a previous realtor and after 4 months my property didn't have 1 offer so I took it off the market. Many months later, I searched Google and found Morgan after reading a review on here (Yelp) and browsing her website. After reviewing her "buyer/seller guide" (which I highly recommend you ask her for), it literally answered every question I had as a seller. And in my case, I started to question after living in 4 states and working with countless realtors, why this was my first time seeing such a guide? It speaks to Morgan's ability to truly understand her market and clients. I went from no sell after 4 months to hiring Morgan and had an offer in 10 DAYS!!! You can't get any better than that. What I love about Morgan is that she's a straight-shooter. She won't B.S. you and she delivers. She also pays attention to details. I lived out of state from my property so she did all of the legwork for me. My condo needed some work with painting, staging (which I HIGHLY recommend her staging services), and minor maintenance. Her pricing was reasonable, she got it done in a timely manner, and she found ways to save (to the point that she went and actually swapped an item purchased for a less expensive one). She has a great eye for design, and most importantly, she's trustworthy. I can't recommend this woman enough. No shade to male realtors, but my experience personally has been that woman realtors pay more attention to details. I gave Morgan my timeline and budget and she completely exceeded my expectations. I don't even think this review does her justice as I'm beyond thankful for her services. She's phenomenal. If you're in search of a realtor or have a realtor already but you have a hunch they aren't meeting your needs, before you sign any papers, I'd make the switch or at minimum hear what she has to say. UPDATE (approximately 1.5 years later): We recently used Cari Ann Carter again for the purchase of a lot. This was a bit spontaneous and Cari Ann is a pit bull when it comes to advocating for you. We were able to put in an offer Sunday, get a counteroffer Monday and secure the property on Tuesday. She was INSTRUMENTAL in making this happen quickly and is the best negotiator ever! She set reasonable expectations for us, which we really appreciated, and was very open in feedback along the entire way. More importantly, she is a DO-er!
