The first home, upon the inspection, they found so many items, several big ticket items (septic field, roof, furnace, hot water tank to name a few) they saved us from buying a home that would have cost us upwards of $50k to repair. First time home buyer bought my house way back in 2015. I received an inspection from Bob at my realtors recommendation. I trusted that he would give me an honest inspection. He didn't do a lot of things i thought were going to happen such as camera down my plumbing and a roof check. I was informed by bob that my house was in relatively good shape and other then a few minor repairs i am good to go. Within 3 weeks i needed major plumbing work. then i had to remove asbestos then i re did my floor. 1 year to the day later i needed more major plumbing work...goodbye new floors...and the rest of the house 60' of excavation and in that process my HVAC was ruined so new HVAC. then a few short months later I found out i needed a new roof. I get that houses fall apart however the plumber said this should have been obvious for a few years your plumbing is destroyed and the roofer said the same thing about the roof. So i ask Bob what on earth did you inspect if all the repair guys I hired said this should have been obvious. you could not Pay me to get another inspection from this Guy Hire a Pro do not go cheap get a thorough inspection!!!! read more

Jeffries Inspection Services performed an inspection on my furnace. They claimed that it was unsafe and needs to be replaced due to high levels of carbon monoxide that they measured. I was concerned and quickly called a furnace company to come out. The company I called checked the furnace and said the unit is in " great working order", and had readings of 0.0 CO. read more

We are first time home buyers and hired Bob Jeffries to help us make a sound decision on our home purchase. At the end of the inspection, Bob went over what needed to be fixed in the house. Later on we realized that our house has the polybutylene pipes and they are known to burst on home owners unexpectedly. There was a $1 Billion class action settlement through a lawsuit against these pipes and its manufacturer. Bob failed to mention this us. As a certified home inspector I expect that something like this would be brought to our attention and we can have the seller fix it. Please read his limited liability clause before you do anything, basically if he misses something he is not at fault, his insurance company is totally biased as well like any insurance would be, I would not trust this person to inspect a house. read more

His is well trained and certified by inspection organization. His report with photographs is easy to read and understand. He has an abridged summary report that gives the critical items and the full report with all the items inspected. Bob works with a team to complete the inspection and then goes over it with the buyer. It is emailed to buyers and their realtor. It is a good tool for making the seller and seller's realtor aware of concerns. He says call him if you have questions later on, and he means it. read more
