I spoke with Stephanie to asked about it. They were actually fabricating a piece at that time and she invited me over to see a whole slab. OMG! Gorgeous can't even begin to describe it. So I told her what, when, and how much I needed. She came up with the ballpark figure right there. The ease of working with her was fabulous. As soon as my cabinets were installed I called her to get a final measurement appointment and within the week my countertop was set. My kitchen came out better than I could imagine. Any questions or ideas I had that would involve actual modification of a standard size cabinet was strongly discouraged by Tony . So they want to be known as a custom cabinet maker , but only if it's all standard sizes or designs. WHAT ? Don't waste your time or money they don't care what you , the customer wants . Poorly handled , did not demonstrate good communication/ people skills . Couldn't even tell me if I should replace cabinets or flooring first !!!! Terrible

The contractor Tony recommended, Jim, was also fantastic. Jim did a lot of work, the prices were more than fair and I would call him for more work in a heartbeat. The funny part is we found them by looking at the reviews for Lafatta. One of their reviews said save yourself the the trouble and go see Tony at Hollywood Cabinets down the street. Emailed pictures to Stan Harrison last summer, who worked up a quote. Not cheap but these can't be found. Procrastinated until now, asked for a re-quote, and was told last year's quote was good. Fortunately, I drove over with one of the old railings to make sure. Glad I did. Walked in and Stan said, "I don't know what the hell that is." "It's a porch railing, Stan." He showed me the one brand they sell, completely inappropriate for this job. Meanwhile another customer, a contractor, was being told by another clerk, "I don't have a window like that", whatever that was, and the contractor was trying to choose a replacement. And a THIRD customer, also a contractor, was holding a broken piece of vinyl siding and apologizing by admitting it was "probably 8 to 10 years old" and hoping to match the brown color as best as possible. His clerk was looking at the siding like it was a prehistoric reptile. So! I'm thinking Ingram's motto is: if you want exactly what we sell, come to Ingram!

It had the original cabinets from the 1970s. The shelves weren't even, and there was barely any counter space to work with. We knew we wanted to replace all the cabinets, get quartz counterop, and upgrade the layout to be more functional. We called another competitor first, and they quoted us that the bare minimum of what we were asking for would be over $45,000, which was more than twice our budget. When we met Bill, he wasn't pushy or salesy. We told him our budget and what we were looking for, and he was able to meet every expectation. It took about 8 weeks for our cabinets to come in/be made. Immediately after that, Joe and the crew came and completed our kitchen renovation within 2 weeks. My partner and I work from home, and the renovation did not disturb our workflow at all. We'll definitely be working with them again in the future when we update our bathrooms!
