She treats her clients extremely well and when I first went into her office it was the very first time I was told that my acne would not get worse, it would get better. I started crying because she gave me hope that she could fix an acne problem that had plagued me for years and would not go away no matter what, and she lived up to her promises. I went to Jen once a month for about two and a half years and she is the most amazing esthetician in San Diego. I have tried so many facials on the list and they are all fantastic even if you order the same facial each time she will change up the first mask with a new recipe she has made and they all smell and feel amazing! There are even 2 points during each facial where she will massage your neck and shoulders and then your hands and feet, literally you will melt it feels so good. She is so easy to talk to and such a friend you can sleep during your treatment or you can talk to her its up to you I always had a blast exchanging stories about one another's days. I think my favorite thing though was that if she told you to try anything at home or had a new recipe for a facial you she only give it to you if she has used it/tried it herself she never promotes anything she hasn't done, she is truly a beauty angel. I gave my mom a massage from her for mothers day and once I get a job and make money I will definitely be back for a facial and a massage!

I have been going to Christina for the last couple years to have Brazilian sugaring treatments…read moresince she was in a salon near Moonlight Beach... and I hope she always stays in town because I can't imagine going to anyone else! The new salon, which has been open for a couple weeks now, is such a better location! It's newer, has fresh floors and paint, and is more spacious which makes me feel even more comfortable getting my sugaring done. Since her move to this location, her Brazilian sugaring service is just as great. I have not yet had a spa or facial service, but I look forward to trying them someday. For anyone wondering how sugaring is different than waxing, you really ought to just try it. I have a thicker hair texture and, since switching to sugaring, I have fewer ingrown hairs and slower growth. By the way, if you do have any difficult ingrown hairs, let Christina know and she may be able to extract them for you. :) So happy for their move to this beautiful new place.

So I been doing my extension lashes with Amanda for at least a couple of years. She was…read morerecommended by one of my co workers. Throughout the time, there are a few incident of her customer services on how she talks to me seems off and rude. However, I ignored it. Her quality of her work was good when i started and I stayed with her for a couple oF years. Starting last year and this year, her quality of her services been lacking and making excuses of why lashes kept falling off so quickly. It was after 3-4 days, I noticed half of my lashes were off. She used a "bonding agent" on my lashes, and it seems as it was workign. And then she stoppped for whatever reason. I had talked to my other co workers as we also are Havign the same issues with her. My co workers even told me that she wouldn't even put bonding agent on them Even after they told her about the problems as she was trying not to use too much of her materials. There are multiple incidents that I have to wait extra 10 minutes for her to finished her previous clients before my service starts. So the last booking I had with her, I mentioned I would be late for 10 min, since she called me to reschedule the night before since she was sick. So she asked me if I can come in tomorrow and I said yes. It was a Last minute rescheduling from her and I told her I would be late fOr 10 minutes. I got there 8 minutes late. She did her work. And I did felt my lashes weren't full as how it was before. I even asked her, should I give myself a rest of not havign extension so my lashes can grow. She told me ' no, keep coming, try to do it every 2 weeks' so after 3-4 days , half of my lashes were gone again , and I tried to be so extra careful of taking care of it the fact I know it wasn't full since the beginning. And I paid $75.00 and usually I tipped her, but the last two times I didn't because it was just off with her services. I texted her and I asked if it is because "WE" didn't use the bonding agent ( she didn't apply that time ) and she immediately got offended and texted me back that she doesn't do baby lashes ( which makes sense) AnD tHat I was late for 10 minutes therefore I don't get the full services PLUs " thanks for your thoughts this early mornin" I even ignored her attitude problems ( and she does it once awhile if you ask her questions about her work or anything with schedules) I explained to her to let me know how me being 10 affected my lashes and I rather pay extra for that extra 10 min since I drove 40 mins to her room. And I would take notes of it. And she responded unprofessionally telling me not to come back if I don't like her services and her work. This girl, instead of understanding and tryign to work with me professionally and guide me to understand the process . She gets butt hurt and have attitude problems with whatever she is going through. She doesn't really care about her clients or potentially losing them. I would not recommend anyone to go to her for the price she is charging plus her attitude and unprofessionalism manner. I don't usually go out there to write a review like this unless is necessary to protect others for paying $$-$$$$ and then get blame with an attitude with no solutions. I screenshot the conversation between her and myself. See on Photos for the conversation.

The second one she didn't honor, saying that groupon had sold her a bad package, that she interpreted the expiration dates differently than groupon, that groupon clients had messed up her business and been problematic. I left without the second service. If she had told me when I booked the second appointment (we had several texts where I reminder of her the groupon) that she wasn't going to honor the groupon, I might have paid the difference, but at least I would have had the choice first. Her facials were worth about the groupon price, but in my opinion, not worth more.(For that price I could go to a nice salon instead of little cubicle "suite" rooms in a rather strange salon suites strip mall location. I had cleared my schedule and driven across town to my appointment before she brought up that she was not honoring the second service on the groupon. After my conversation with her, I would be uncomfortable trusting her with my skin in the future and wouldn't be able to recommend her, especially not to people thinking of purchasing a groupon or other promotion package.
